If it was possible to give negative stars, I would. My 20min wait was more like 45. The guy that did my pedicure reeked of cigarettes so bad, it was sickening. And he was definitely lighting up in the bathroom instead of outside because I nearly choked on the smell of smoke when I went to the back. Worst Pedicure of my Life! He didn't clean under my toenails. He didn't trim all the skin around the sides of my nails - but don't worry, where he did bother to trim, he went all the way to the flesh! The filing was literally a 1-2-3 across each nail - if you like the jagged look, this place is for you! The "massage" was merely rubbing in the lotion. I didn't even get to specify the type of pedicure I wanted. So no sugar scrub for me. Apparently they don't believe in base coat. Or cleaning up the polish on your toes. He got the little brush like he was going to clean up my toes... yeah, that didn't happen. And the convenient thing? He didn't clean up the paint where he'd nicked me. He knew he did it! So I go to check out and Lee requests to see my toes (even though I showed her the pictures I'd taken before putting my shoes on). She says they're smooth... nope. She says they have to trim the sides (my skin) to clean them up - yes, but you don't have to nick me. And I point out the paint. She offers to fix it. At this point, I've been here too long and I have plans so I didn't have time. But quite frankly, fixing the paint doesn't fix the nicks in my toes. Or the substandard service overall.
And guess what? She has the audacity to still charge me. But you know...in the interest of fairness, with a $5 discount...are you kidding me? What, a dollar for each nick in my toes? If I'd subtracted every substandard aspect of this experience, THEY would've paid ME!
The only way I'd ever go back to this place would be to warn people before they walk in the door. Seriously. Don't do it. Or at least avoid the smoke-smelling dude that obviously can't focus on anything other than his next...
Read moreI’m really hesitant to write a review because I actually really like the people who work here, but my feet hurt so bad I feel I should write this in hopes the salon will change their practices. I went in for a pedicure, they got me in quickly and started to work on getting my gel nail polish off from my last pedi. The man who did my nails absolutely destroyed my toes. He used a file at first in an attempt to file the nail polish off and then actually tried to peel/pick it off with his nails. I’m no expert but I don’t think that’s right. So he was filing my skin and eventually made me bleed. It was awful I was on edge the entire time. When he noticed he made me bleed, he apologized. I told him it was hurting and he eased up a little bit for a few minutes then went right back to it. Any other salon I’ve been to soaks gel for 10-15 min or takes it off with a dremel. I’ve never minded that, it’s usually quick and painless. Terrible experience, I will not be back and I would not recommend ever getting a pedi here, it’s supposed to be a relaxing experience and you shouldn’t be in fear of your feet being destroyed because they don’t know how to take...
Read moreThis was the worst manicure experience I have ever had. First of all, the man couldn't understand the directions I was giving him. Second, there are bubbles in all of my acrylic nails, and finally the "design artist" couldn't even make a simple cat tail. The manicurist made my nails bleed, did not even remove my cuticles, and didn't cover the underneath side of the nail. He used nail glue, Walmart purchased, to glue on the tips. I will never return! And will tell as many people as I can that this place is the worst location to visit for a manicure. Extremely disappointed. I am going to have to spend more money to have someone fix my nails because if there are bubbles in acrylic nails there is a serious danger for fungus to grow which will cause a flesh eating disease. Not only am I disappointed with the work that was done but all of the tools that they used on my nails were pulled out of an old altoid box and I'm sure they were not sanitized in between clients. If you want to contract a fungus or a flesh eating disease then this is the...
