Called to ask for their assistance in stopping the pain and suffering that our chihuahua Squeaky was having to endure due to inoperable cancer. Well I've used them 5 or 6 times in the past for different reasons and 1 of those was for the euthanasia of an 80lbs animal that we rescued from abusive owners. After checking out this animal after a few visits because his demeanor was quite aggressive, the Vet and I agreed on euthanasia that due to fear and mis trust he had developed a sort of PTSD if you will unable to rehabilitate and far too aggressive. For the fee of $20 we did not have to suffer financially for trying to right someone else's wrong and it was a humane way to go for an animal who had a hard unfair life caused by people who I hope are in some way receiving the same treatment this animal did and meet the same demise. That being said, that's the only time I had a favorable experience was that time and mainly because I was allowed to bypass the unanswered phone calls by, the bland service, the always seemingly aggravated, the its been a busy day, its been a busy week, uncaring, and completely oblivious to your animals needs, your feelings, or anything else other than how you'll be paying. You would think since the Veterinarian, Dr. Henley having the respectful, engaging, reassuring bedside manner that you'd expect from someone who spent the time and effort to complete the years of schooling & training it takes to become a Doctor that has made a lifelong commitment to help animals of all kinds with compassion and respect that it would rub off on the few front room job holders. Well it dont and I go back hoping for that caring experience time and time again to no avail. Well, unfortunately, this was the last time that the hope that I had for a family member to move on to the next life at the hands of such a capable endearing Doctor would torn away by the claws and talons of an inept staff such as that. Ill close on a good note, I didnt have to make the drive to the office, she assisted my decision to hang up during my phone conversation. Please, if you can tolerate a staff that makes you wish you were getting euthanized long enough to get to "the back" then you'll be blessed by one of the Best Veterinarians that you'll ever have the pleasure of interacting with and you'll know you and your pet are in the hands of a consummate professional and then you'll understand why I tried and failed 6 more times...
Read moreWe've recently moved to to the area and do not have a "family doctor" for our furbabies yet. One of our babies was experiencing chronic diarrhea. Regardless of having full appointment schedule and clients bringing/picking up boarded pets, we were told to bring our baby in and they'd fit us in as quickly as possible. Yes, we waited a bit, but considering how busy they were, they truly got us seen more quickly than we anticipated. During our wait, the staff was constantly apologizing to us! So very friendly despite being run off their feet. Have been to so many places where the staff gives an atmosphere of being burdened by the clients. Not here! Also, Dr Bridges was very reassuring in his assessment and advice. We've been to places where they want to whisk your pet away and run multiple tests, keeping them for observation, etc only to find they have worms or need a dietary change. Dr Bridges prescribed only what she needed for relief and suggested common sense approach, to easing her condition, saving us needless expenses.
We truly appreciate their willingness to give immediate care, treat us like valued clients and being mindful of the...
