Hong Kong Buffet — Restaurant in Colquitt

For a one-horse Town trust me this blows a lot of big city buffets out of the park! You Don't See Much from the outside not much to look at and even less when you go inside but judging a book by the cover this time will fail you. The service I must say is spectacular I mean you get asked if you need anything at least every 5 or 10 minutes which is nothing wrong. Your drinks do not go unpunished in less than 5 minutes as well. The buffet it is a little depressing as far as variety but the items that I had on there really surprised the heck out of me. It's worth driving 40 minutes away from where I am staying, one of those you must try things if you're in town. Also Yelp says it's closed today on a Wednesday but they were very very open. The atmosphere is like a Chinese cheers where everybody seems to know each other but of course when you only have one horse in your town you name...

We was from out of town and passing through and was quite hungry. We googled eating places and decided to stop here. The moment we walked in there wasnt a person in there. The host was very friendly and explained they would cook all new food. There was an unpleasant smell that automatically made one of the little girls who was with me sick to her stomach. As we went to sit down I looked at the walls and it appeared to be mold all over the wall paper. It just seemed so unclean in there from the smell and spots all over the wall paper it just gave a bad atmosphere all over. We decided to get up and leave before we even ate since the little girl became so sick feeling. I gave it a 2 star only because the host was nice and we didnt actually taste the food. I am honestly surprised at the ratings and reviews...

My family drove to Colquitt just to get some Chinese food at Hong Kong Buffet! We had heard such good things, we decided to give it a try. We chose to get to-go plates off the buffet. There were plenty of food options available. The food was good, although it had stayed out on the buffet a little longer than it should have. A bit over cooked due to staying under the heat lamps too long. The flavor was good. The seating area was a bit cramped, with one table basically a supply area with cardboard boxes all over it.
