We LOVED our time at Columbia Falls RV Park and would recommend this RV park to anyone traveling through the area! The location is wonderful to everything from West Glacier to Kalispell, it's well priced, and the staff is better than any other park we've ever stayed (and we've been full time for almost 3 years if that tells you something ;)). We can't wait to come back! We left two days ago and already miss it there! Our ONLY complaint is that the sites are close together. But that didn't bother us as much -- we were out and about so much!

We were scheduled for 3 nights, but wanted to come in a night early. We called and they accommodated us immediately. They even got us on the same lot for the entire stay. Very Clean park and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Super close to the entrance of Glacier National Park. Be sure to buy some huckleberry preserves too

We have stayed in several campgrounds in the area. Columbia Falls is by far the nicest. Park is clean, bathrooms are clean, laundry is clean and the store is well stocked. The staff is very nice and Bob was very helpful. This park is very convenient to Glacier and Hungry Horse. We will be back!

Location is everything in this park, and the rating reflects our experience and our site.

First the good stuff: The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The office/store is clean, well stocked with RV supplies, some groceries, and lots of information about the area. There is a trail outside the park that leads to the river and a community park, making for a nice walk. The sites from the entrance to the office are the nicer sites -- well kept, bigger with more space, grass and landscaping in between, and a few larger sites for bigger rigs. Good wi-fi and satellite TV. Close to Glacier NP. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry facilities.

The not-so-good: The sites at the back of the park behind the office are more crowded, with little landscaping and are not as well kept. Our site was a back-in site located at the back of the park, up against a fence, near the exit road. It was also probably the least desirable site in that row (site 37). Our neighbor's hookups were immediately outside our door with little space between the sites. They offered us a picnic table, but there was no room for one. We were escorted to our site and were directed through another site in order to get to ours due to the narrow road and several parked vehicles. The sites are short, so most had vehicles parked across the front. There were also large rocks placed at the end of each site, making backing in more challenging. Dogs are only allowed to do their business in the dog park, which is located at the very front of the park.

There are only a few tent sites (it appears they are being phased out for cabins), which are located immediately off the exit road, small, all gravel, no grass, with only a partial fence providing little privacy from traffic, and a large security light overhead.

Would definitely recommend booking a site at the front of the park, if you plan...

We stayed long term at this location starting in June 2022 as we just relocated to the area for my husbands job. The managers at that time were incredibly helpful and got my husband a spot when no one else had anything. We made it through the winter there with no onsite manager or much contact with anyone on site. We had one issue with our power during the middle of one of the negative cold snaps, only way to get someone was via Facebook messenger. Overall we were happy with the monthly rate as well as the rate charged for electricity use. Then somewhere between Jan-March the onsite manager changed. First issue we encountered was an additional charge of $890 that when I asked what it was for was told it was for months where we paid short, I had my online account and bank statement to show we paid everything that was owed every month, there were even times we paid earlier than the invoice was posted. We had to extend our stay a few times due to our private spot not being ready, they were good about that. When we did move out they charged our card on file for the last week of our stay and 2 months of electricity usage, they weren't always great at charging the electricity in a timely manner, this was April 9th. Then on April 10th we were charged, without our knowledge or consent and additional $350 for electricity. So for 9 days they are stating we used double the power that we did in the 2 months of winter where we had negative temps for days? I tried calling the office and emailed asking for documentation of how they came to this charge and never received a response back. I had to contact my bank and dispute the charge. Its a shame that a RV park in a great location in a great community is taking advantage of people, check out their Facebook page, we aren't the only ones this has happened...
