I had the ugliest experience in this store. I spent over $250 and when my wife came to returned the items my wife she went to the cashier and asked her how she can return the item she told her to wait by the cashier . After a while another lady came ask my wife why she is waiting by the cashier my wife told her she want to return the defected items so the last told my wife she need to stay in line so when he turn come up they will help. When my wife reached the counter the cashier told her to wait for the Manager to help her keep In mind we had child waiting on the car want to use the bathroom of cures they don't have . The MANAGER came and credit my wife's account with the money . After that my wife find out that one of the jacket was also defected so she went again to the store to get credit for the item .
Her comes the MANAGER ugly monster role when my wife asked her she want to get credit for the defected time THE MANAGER waived her hand and told my wife you should returned the whole thing and get over with and stop coming a lot to change things.
Her is my take on this . The MANAGER should know that when the people buy from the store they pay her check without us buying she has no job. Also she should know that customer service needs professional people and if she can't give good customers a good service she shouldn't get this position. My wife came to me and told me what happens so I came to the store and I told her to mind her own business bad not to talk to people in a bad way of they wanna return their stuff and I walked a way. Now the funny part comes in when the security came to my can and telling me that the store has policy not to return items when they are on discount and what I did in the store i am not allowed to come again to the store. If the staff wanna tread us nasty and we can't talk to them or they will not allowed us to come to the store SO BE IT . Service bad your Manager had bad attitude and temper you need to change her trust me you loose more customers with her way...
Read moreTheir supervisors have little or no training in customer service or customer experience. I was involved in a returned merchandise situation. My only options was to call the police because the on duty supervisor walked away. I will never shop to this store again because customer service means everything to me. This comes after, total purchase history of approximately $ 2,000. I month ago I wrote the above statement about discount 70. I reported them to better business bureau afterwards. I said I called the police because the so-called supervisor walked away. Now They are saying another customer called the police and I was threat. Be careful where you shop people. MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: Our return policy is clearly marked at our registers, on the receipt and we also have our employees trained to let each customer know the return policy when they are buying something that is on sale. Our manager that was on duty at the time that this customer came in the store explained the return policy once again. The customer became irate, proceeded to remove the items from the retail packaging and threw it all on the counter. Our manager tried to reason with the customer but was unable to, so in order to de-escalate the situation he walked away. The customer became so irate that another customer called 911 because they were worried about our employees. In the meantime the customer left the store and did not take her items with her. When the officer arrived a report was made. We have been holding the customer’s items since this incident happened. Being that our return policy is clearly re-iterated to our customer’s we normally do not break policy, but our manager would have made an exception had the customer calmed down and allowed our manager to offer the store credit. At a later date the customer’s mother came in and apologized to our manager for the incident.

Read moreI've been a regular at Discount 70 for the past two years, and it's become my go-to spot for amazing deals. The name, cleverly derived from their hefty 70% discounts lol. You can practically discover anything you need here – from outdoor furniture and air fryers to kids' toys, clothing, shoes, seasonal items, bedding, and even pet food. Their opening hours may not follow the typical local store hours schedule; they open at noon and close at 7. However, they stop admitting people at 6:30 PM, ensuring that the staff can wrap up on time and head home to their families. Despite the unique hours, Discount 70 maintains a neatly organized store with reasonably priced items. While the store is usually well-kept, some inconsiderate customers tend to create a bit of chaos by opening boxes, misplacing items, removing tags, and leaving things on the floor. Fortunately, the hardworking employees do an excellent job of promptly restoring and ensuring that everything finds its place. Speaking of employees, they're fantastic! Dealing with a diverse range of customers, including some challenging ones, they remain welcoming and helpful throughout. From cashiers to the furniture team, everyone contributes to creating a positive shopping experience. Located between Great Moon Buffet and El Tequila Mexican Grill and Bar, the store offers a convenient setup with carts and bags to enhance your shopping ease. The first floor hosts general merchandise, while a trip down to the second floor on the right reveals a treasure trove of furniture items. Make sure to explore every nook and cranny, as hidden gems can often be found for a steal. Parking on weekdays at noon might be a bit tight, but arriving a bit early ensures you snag a spot.
