Abigail gave me the EXACT haircut I wanted! I have very long hair (just below my waist before the cut) and have had traumatic cuts in the past where I asked for a couple of inches taken off and left with half a foot gone. Abigail took the time to ask me exactly what I was wanting in terms of length and shape, and then literally used a comb with measurement notches in it to make sure nothing was over cut. In all my experiences in having my hair cut or trimmed, I've never left a salon in absolute love with my hair, maybe ok with it but never in love with it. This haircut though is the best I've ever gotten. My hair looks soooo healthy, full, and is the exact length I wanted. Abigail is my new go-to woman for my hair cuts! Thank you soooo much!

Nine months after my initial appointment with Abby (described above), I booked another with her. I'm happy to say that the first appointment wasn't a fluke! After having the first appointment turn out so well, I realized how upset I was that I didn't get before and after photos so I got some this time. I even came in wanting a different style cut than last time, so she's more than capable in cutting different styles. This time I wanted 6 inches off and long layers. Once again, she nailed it and I'm in absolute love...

I've struggled with a red tint in my hair after letting a friend box dye my light brown hair. I finally decided it was worth the money to go to a salon and get my hair done professionally. When I went in, I explained the tendency to pull an orange shine and explained that was the last thing I wanted. I showed him a picture of a chocolatey brown color, but when I left I had black hair with a red tint. I called and asked for them to fix it or refund me, so the owner personally "fixed" my hair. He claimed he would lift the color, and that it was an easy fix. He must have been in a rush because he only put dye over it, and while the dye was sitting in my hair he moved me to the waiting area to work on another client. My hair still had a red tint and was still much darker than I originally wanted, and he assured me the red tint was only the lighting in the salon. Needless to say I was not happy with my experience, and if you have hair like mine that pulls warm colors I would avoid this salon...

First, I have to say I love Aveda products. I have traveled all over the country, and have had hair appointments in many states in upscale salons. I just graduated from Carolina and during my senior year I decided to take a shot at the Five Points Salon. I was hooked up with Brittany Miller who corrected a terrible color I received from another salon in town. It was terrible- and she fixed it and made me look great. I went back to Brittany several times and am very sad to be moving across the country. Every time I visit the salon, I feel the team is working together with no drama in a relaxing, laid back environment. I would recommend to anyone- I've seen great guy hair cuts come out of that place as well! The prices are way too reasonable for the amount of talent that place produces.
