Before I write the review, I need to give a small amount of context. My now fiance and I knew that we both wanted to move our relationship further, so I started looking into engagement rings. I knew she did not want diamonds, and was very keen on a ring with our birthstones, which caused me a huge problem, most rings with multiple birthstones looks somewhat childish. I could not find any ring that was just right for her. I decided to speak to her about it and forego the surprise to have her help design a ring.
This is where Royale Jewelers was amazing. My fiance and I were walking through the mall for something I cannot recall. My fiance, who is not the kind of woman that gets excited about jewelry, surprised me by wanting to look into this one store, just to look. We looked around and to my surprise saw a ring that actually would have worked for what she wanted, but it had diamonds in it. The person helping us, Shawna, assured us that not only could we have the diamonds replaced with any stones we wanted, but we could have the ring completely designed from scratch. I assumed that this would cost a small fortune, but she quoted a completely reasonable number. At this point, my fiance's heart was set on this ring, there was no turning back. I walked in to look, and walked out with a custom ring being made.
When the ring came in, the ring had a few small flaws in the metal, the major one being the setting was a little lose. Everything was fixed for free by their on site jeweler for free, and surprisingly fast too.
I will give this huge compliment to Shawna and her manager, they are great with sales. Instead of feeling pressured, I was assured my needs would be met, even if it was not by them. My purchase was not a huge one by any means, yet I was not made to feel any less important. Never once was any form of up sale even suggested, any increase in what we wanted to get was our choice and ours alone. These are sins in for most companies, but they only get a sale. What sets them apart from the other jewelry stores are their customer service, their prices, and their ability and willingness to educate their customers. They provided my wife and I terrific customer service which appears to be encouraged by Royaleâs friendly owner, Charles. Beginning when you enter the store, you are properly acknowledged through their warm greeting, seated, graciously offered water, and reassured that someone will speak with you soon if representatives are dealing with other customers. If you enter with a ring purchased at Royale, they insist on cleaning it and inspecting the prongs for free every time.
I had the pleasure of working with, Mike, as he patiently guided me through the process of purchasing my fiancĂ©eâs engagement ring. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable, he listened, and offered advice and provided suggestions for alternatives to more traditional jewelry choices. He was informative as he explained the differences between gold carats and taught me about the nuance differences between stones, clarity, and metal band strengths. Mikeâs patience and ability to listen made me feel comfortable when purchasing my then girlfriendâs engagement ring. He talked me down from purchasing a trendy, flashier, more expensive engagement ring in favor of a less expensive ring for which she expressed her desire.    Read moreI am very disappointed with this store. About two weeks ago, my husband and myself went into the store and bought a Hamilton womanâs watch with a white band. It was a beautiful piece and was for my motherâs birthday, which is ironically today. The sales person was very nice and the transaction went smoothly. Yesterday, we went into the mall because we had not heard back from anybody affiliated with this store. We went into the store to check on the status of the watch. The body language of both sales people there as well as their non-verbalâs let me know that something was wrong. The original sales person that sold us the watch saw us in the store it didnât come out, she was in the office in the back looking guilty. The young woman that helped us made a phone call and let us know that Charles claimed that the watch was no longer available in the United States, which I find very hard to believe. Even if that was the truth, which I seriously doubt, I have a profound issue with the lack of professional courtesy which was not extended in that nobody from this store let us know that this watch was not available. We bought a Hamilton from the store last year but because of this horrific experience, we will NEVER shop here again. I want to thank you for screwing up my motherâs birthday and not letting us know that this watch was allegedly not available. How freaking hard would it have been to make a phone call?
