Actually, I had my palate set on East Moon Asian Bistro and some sushi, but they only offer Singha and others like it, in my opinion, which are weak beer offerings. I am an IPA kinda guy! Nevertheless, I was informed by the manager that this place used to be a Starbucks---about 3 and a half years ago! She added, "It could've been longer than that because it was left vacant for about a year!" Now, about the meal. I ordered their version of a Philly Cheesesteak and a pint of Divine IPA, which was about 6.5 ABV%. The place is a small venue that offers window seating that faces the parking lot and allows vast amounts of natural light. I had a seat at the bar and had a bird's eye view of my sandwich being made. Fresh strips of succulent ribeye with red cherry tomatoes, caramelized onions and topped with a healthy (not really!) dollop of provolone cheese, neatly blanketed on a grilled ciabatta roll. With the purchase of a pint, the side was added at no additional charge. Instead of fries, I had their handmake salt and pepper potato chips. I gotta say, having a hot sandwich right off the grill was special, and I wasted no time putting it away. It was that good! The tab was a little on the pricey side at 18 bucks less than the tip at the register. Overall, I think I dropped $28 for the experience and the five additional bucks I gave the short-order cook for putting in work! Thank...
Read moreNice sandwich shop that has more than just a plain BLT available. We got the Nashville Hot Chicken and the Fried Pork Cutlet which was highly recommended. The hot chicken was really flavorful and crispy and hot (temperature wise) when you hit into it. It's also a tolerable amount of spice so you can still taste all the toppings combined. The fried pork was the same way - freshly made, hot temperature wise, and so so crispy and tender. The toppings in each sandwich really enhanced their individuality so it wasn't like it all tasted the same. The bun bread was sooo good and held the sandwiches together so well.
We got both of these as make it a deal, with a side of house made chips and potato salad. Both were really good, but they also gave so much for the sides, that combined with the good size sandwich, was a lot of food - more than I could handle.
The chicken orzo soup was average so I'd probably skip this next time to focus mainly on the sandwich. They don't offer the typical fountain sodas like Pepsi or coke, but rather have a small soda brand with new flavors and juices to try out which was pretty good.
Definitely come try their sandwiches! It's gotta be one of the best sandwiches...
Read moreI ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It was blazing hot.... from a temperature perspective. Not hot at all from a spice perspective. Was also really dry which made it a little harder to eat. Beer selection is really bad too. But overall it was a really good experience, I would like to go back and try some other menu items.
Two things really set them apart from other similar restaurants. Bread. The bread they are using is great. Unsure if it’s made in house, but it’s fantastic. Secondly their cleanliness. One of the cleanest restaurants I’ve visited in...
