ALDI — Local services in Columbus

Awful customer service, I was shopping for a doordash order walked to the front of the store ready to check out their was several employees in the front stocking I assume, I walked down past a few registers when a lady was extremely rude said NOPE #4 register!! I thought wow is it all like that, not to mention this is Saturday early afternoon and they had only one lane open. So my husband and I unloaded the cart,and I heard someone from behind say pull up your cart and I'll be right there, first off I'm new to the whole Aldi shopping, and secondly I didn't know if she was talking to me or not. She was very rude I asked her if it mattered if the order was doordash or not she said not one bit,she asked me how many bag's I need I had no idea nor did I know if I had to pay for them. She said that it comes on the bill and I needed 4 of them. As much as I love Aldi, I can’t speak poorly enough about the behavior of the cashier. I had a kombucha(fermented tea drink) and some snack bars and the cashier held up the line multiple times because I didn’t want to place my drink on the conveyor belt, as it would be knocked over and shaken up. I’m confused how this became such a public issue, not only did she inconvenience other shoppers by taking too much time dealing with a non issue, but she alienated a very loyal Aldi shopper(me), for no understandable reason. The shoppers in front of me told me to go ahead of them because they were sick of her and the shopper behind me commented that they couldn’t understand the cashier’s reasoning either. I’ve never had a bad Aldi experience outside of this, and will continue to shop here and other locations but someone needs to coach...

So while shopping here I wanted to get some bananas, simple enough task one would think. When I walked to the banana section and distributed the pile I was assaulted by a rather impressive swarm of gnats. I turned to a red head employee and told her of the situation and not only did she dismiss me but then took up a attitude of indignation. Now I can handle a rude person as well as the next, but then I found her also running the cash register. Unfortunately I left my wallet in the car and I told her I would be right back that I’m very sorry for the inconvenience, and again she took up that attitude that I was somehow interrupting her day and rolled her eyes.
