Extremely dissatisfied. When I purchased my Samsung TV I purchased the extended warranty with it also. So my TV will not turn on and we called the protection plan company. We received a call from Allen's TV about 3 days later for a scheduled appointment for them to come out in about another week. When it comes down to the day they were supposed to come out and repair the TV my wife gets a call where the technician states that he just looked over the work order, thinks he might know what the problem is, and he will just order the parts and let us know when they come in. He said it would be better that way because if he came out he would have to take my TV with him if he could not fix it that day. My wife calls Allen's TV office phone to follow up after the technician called to verify everything. The receptionist that answers the phone and insisted that she did not know what was going on and would get back with us. We waited a couple of days and had no reply so my wife called back. She talked to the owner this time and he stated that the receptionist was new and did not completely understand what was going on. He said that they were going to order a new Wi-Fi card and a new board and he would let us know more on an ETA once the part company got back with him. Once again no reply after about a week. My wife calls up there again and the receptionist is very rude with her and tells her that she will call her when she knows something. My wife expressed the fact we have been without the TV for a couple of weeks now and still have not been updated. The receptionist replied with "And, your point is? What do you want me to do about it? You can call up here anytime if you have any questions". My wife calls me and explains everything which makes me to decide to call up there. I called and spoke with the owner. The owner was very polite and explained the situation about being that it was a warranty claim the parts had to be ordered from a certain supplier and that was what was taking so long. I told him that I understood and told him it was just frustrating that we have been without a TV for about a month that I spent over two thousand dollars on. He understood and we even joked about not getting to watch the Superbowl on it. The very next day I get a phone call from another TV repair company stating that the just got a work order on my TV. I told him I don't believe that is correct because I Have Allen's on it and they already have parts ordered. My wife then calls back up to Allen's and the owner told her that the warranty company kicked the warranty claim for some reason. When my wife calls the warranty company they tell her that that is not true and that the receptionist called and cancelled the claim. This is on a Friday and Allen's is already closed. So I call them today on Monday and ask to speak to the owner and was told he was not in. I did not wish to leave a contact number and said I would call back later. The owner calls back a little while later from the number on the caller id. I asked him if he knew the situation and what was going on. He told me that he rejected the call because he understood that my wife was upset about the situation and he would only make $110 off of the call and get a bad review. He told me that it just was not worth it. He then tried to back up his statement with "you run a shop and know where I am coming from with an upset customer". I told him that customer service was my number one priority, that I would make sure that the customer was taking care of, and was not very happy with his services. That's when he told me that he has been doing this a long time and if I thought I could do better then I should just buy his business. As you can see with the other Google reviews he will have a reply that will be very rude and not be handled professionally. I would never recommend this company to anybody. Very rude and...
Read moreThis place is horrible and has done nothing but lied to us multiple times .Let me start with the back story our house was hit by lighting on 5/23 early in the morning,it hit all the tv’s and direct tv box’s, telephones, air conditioner system . We had a protection plan with direct tv, so we call and filed a claim they told us that we would have to mail the one tv in and the other 2 would be fixed at our home . They set us with appointment with Allen’s Tv Sales and Service on the 5/24. We waited all day an no one ever came. So we called and was told that it would be Friday May 25 between 8:00-12:00. I called after 12:00 and was told that the parts didn’t come in. Then Kathleen told me that they would come to repair Monday, May 28 between 8:00-12:00. After 12:00 on Monday May 28 I tried to call and got no answer. They were not open on May 28 but that is the appointment that she gave me. I got online an left a message and Vernon replied and told me to contact them on Tuesday morning May 29 when they open. I called at 7:56 on May 29 and he said call back in a few minutes after they opened at 8:00 to talk with Kathleen. I called back at 8:30 and she said that they would be here to fixed Tv’s on Thursday May 31 between 10:00-3:00 and for me to call her back on Thursday May 31 after 8:00 and she would let me know within an hour of the time that they would be here. I call on Thursday morning at 8:30 and then she informed me that they only have parts to fix one of my tv’s and they would be here around 12:00ish. When they arrived the man and lady came inside and went to fussing because we only had to take 1 small screw out and then we could lay it down, because we didn’t have it already laying down. It was ONLY 1 screw and he wouldn’t wait for us to take it loose. He jerked up his cloth, tools and said I’m out of here because it was supposed to be off the wall already. With all the lies that they kept telling us, I couldn’t let the TV set in middle of floor for a week. I ONLY HAD TO TAKE OUT 1 SCREW and he didn’t want to wait a few seconds until we got that out and get the tv down. They left out my house and slammed my door. I will never do business with them or recommend them to anyone else in the future. This is not business like attitude...
Read moreI am not one to write bad reviews as I know how some people are, but I am Absolutely appalled by the customer service of the lady in office. I looked over reviews before calling, of course with this mentioned before I still wanted to make the decision for myself and called to set up a drop off for diagnostic and repair. The man I spoke to on the phone was friendly and professional so I was at that point skeptical of the previous reviews. Then come day for dropping off, it's raining.... I understand that a tv can get water damage, but the flat out rudeness I received from trying to drop off despite the rain(when I offered to cover and use an unbrella) was very unexpected and really uncalled for. I have worked in customer service settings for 15 years and know that good employees are hard to find, so I hope this employee is a Rockstar, because unfriendly faces (meaning attitudes, not actual faces, because apparently I have to be specific -- read below - pardon me for using a phraseI didn't think was objective) can deter business, and that's exactly why I will just go buy another tv instead of having the one I have looked at, because Allen's is the ONLY repair tech that is local. ** edited to add after a reply, no one asked me to wait, no mention of 10-15 minutes, I was under the assumption I was bringing the tv in until the tech was asked , nor were they wearing a mask OR friendly during the entire interaction. And my only demeanor was amazement and bug eyes from the unprofessionalism. Had an explanation or even regular conversation as to why I could not be accommodated at that time been presented, I would not have felt the need to write a review, but it was not, so here we are. No hurt feelings whatsoever.. also, you should post that taped interaction, because your version...
