I recently had the opportunity to work with Cassidy at her salon, hoping to learn how to care for my loose natural hair after transitioning from locs. Cassidy was incredibly kind and informative throughout the service. She patiently walked me through the process of washing, conditioning, and shared the products she used.

However, I left feeling disappointed with the overall value of the service. For $275, I expected more than just a wash, condition, trim, and blow dry, especially as I had hoped to leave with a curly cut. While Cassidy explained that I wasn’t a good candidate for a curly cut due to my recent transition, I still anticipated leaving with a style, rather than just a blowout. Though she demonstrated how to do a twist, I left without any real styling.

Simply echoing the majority of the comments for Cassidy! She is the best. As others stated, I've been to other curly specialists, and Cassidy truly cares about my hair goals and knows how to style my hair perfectly every single time! My sister and I drive over 400 miles to see Cassidy and are never disappointed. My sister and I have two completely different hair types and goals; she delivers effortlessly on both. Cassidy will always talk me through what she does with my hair, mainly because I constantly forget how to replicate her MAGIC. Cassidy is super responsive about questions I have between appointments. If you are questioning whether or not to put your curly hair needs in the hands of Cassidy, STOP considering and just book. I will never trust anyone with my hair as much as I trust Cassidy.

My cat died unexpectedly yesterday. I'm recovering from a concussion and have some cognitive issues. I was really excited to book an appointment with Cassidy and read through her site but I didn't retain all the information I read. I sent a couple emails asking for clarification on things that evidently were somewhere on her website and she was really cold to me. I ended up just canceling my appointment. Really disappointed this didn't work out. I had been following her on social media for months and telling all my friends I was going to book her when I could. Classic don't meet your heroes I guess.
