I was super excited about trying bungee workout classes because it sounded so fun! Unfortunately, during my first class, my bungee cords were not set up appropriately for my height and when I went down for my first burpee, I did not have enough room and smacked my knee into the hard floor. I was upset about this but mistakes happen, so I returned to more classes attributing my pain to just bruising my knee and expected it to get better. It continued to cause me pain so I had to go to a specialist.. that injury damaged the cartilage on the back of my knee cap. I now have to go to PT (and pay) for an injury that could have been prevented.
The owner talks about her other clients during classes. Who has annoyed her, who isnāt doing what they should be doing in class, etc. I always left feeling like Iād be the next one talked about. My coworker and I also attended a few BAB classes. We were pretty much ignored while the owner talked to all the other girls she knew and liked. She really didnāt seem to care about that class and only seemed to be focused on the dance class that happens after. Between this and the gossip about other clients, it very much felt like high school.
I purchased a package of classes in the beginning and had to r/s a few times due to my knee pain and I had been sick twice. Natalie felt the need to rudely text me at 6:30AM this morning asking me if Iād be at the next class I r/s for on JUNE 19TH and to tell me what an inconvenience my r/s had been for her. For reference, it is JUNE 5TH. She still pocketed the money I spent on the 2 classes I cancelled so she actually got double paid for my āspotā in class when someone else booked. Overall, extremely disappointed in my experience here. Decided to cut my loses on the money I spent on the package just so I donāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI cannot say enough good things about Firefly Bungee Fitness. I have been to several of the classes Natalie has offered and have always walked away with a smile...and sweat!
Her dance class is a very a fun and welcoming environment. If you don't know the moves, that's ok! She encourages everyone to do their best, push yourself, and just keep moving.
The bungee class is so much fun and something I encourage everyone to try - you will love it. She takes the time to walk you through the set up of the cords, and repeatedly asks if you're comfortable, etc. Natalie walks you through each step, and you do a routine that incorporates each step you've just learned. As you're performing the moves, she does them as well and guides you by telling you how to adjust your feet, your stance, etc. It took me a few times to get some of the moves down, and when I finally did one correctly, not only was I thrilled, she was too. The class is small and private, which I love because we all bond over looking a little silly and giggling while we learn to freefall, burpee, and fly.
Do not hesitate to go to Firefly Bungee Fitness and the classes available. You will not regret it, and you will also...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was hoping to like this place, but I was very disappointed.
First the classes...I attended a dance class and a bungee class. The dance class was not as hard as I thought it would be but it was very frustrating. You get VERY little instruction on the routines and can't see the instructor if in the back or hear over the music. Several of us just had to follow other people in front of us who knew the class/moves well and figure it out. A good portion of bungee class is getting everyone set that cuts into the time. And you better hope your ropes are set up correctly.....
More importantly than that, I would never recommend this place due to the unprofessionalism of the owner. She talks openly about other clients in a negative way. She can be very rude and condescending in her communication. There are very strict cancellation rules in place, but to charge for the missed class AND an extra fee is a bit ridiculous. I can accept one of those, but not both. And no excuse is good enough - weather,...
