JCBank — Local services in Columbus

My journey with the JCB Central Ave. branch began thirteen months ago. I was originally attracted to the branch because of convenience. Initially they took great pains to explain the banking options. I was also impressed by the atmosphere: comfortable chairs, literature on the Columbus and Bartholomew Co. communities, free coffee, etc.

My banking experience since then has been very positive! For example, any time I needed a printout of my account activity, they were more than accommodating. When I had difficulty, they cooperated by issuing three debit cards over a period of time. From the beginning, we gave been on a first name basis and they always cordially greet me on arrival and departure. I can always get an account available balance over the phone, with verification, when needed.

In summary, I have never felt that the size of my account was never significant to the level of...

Worthless experience. Staff is rude. Was told i cant cash a paycheck due to my account being at $0. Not a negative balance. But 0. Needed to pay bills today and had to spend hours of my time opening a new account else where due to their rules that was not disclosed to me prior. Would not recommend this bank. Go somewhere where they don’t play with your hard earned money....
