NexusPark — Local services in Columbus

Specifically it was Lucas Brothers Hamburgers we ATTEMPTED to visit after traveling from Indy to Columbus. Lucas Brothers owner need to make up his mind what hours they will be open and stick to them rather than changing them daily on a whim.

Also, if they didn't have enough help to open, they shouldn't have even bothered to open at all UNTIL they were COMPLETELY READY TO SERVE.

Additionally the Lucas Brothers hamburgers that Columbus knew and loved from my recollections was thick, kind of greasy, juicy hamburgers with onions cooked under them on the grill, not a smashed, thin, dry wanna be Steak n Shake burger. Believe me....you don't want to be a Steak n Shake burger as most of them are or have gone to hell and closing.

Appreciate grandson giving this a try, but better consult with grandma more if you want to keep her great reputation intact as she left it a few years back when...

Good: This mall is kept alive by a few solid anchor stores and a couple of casual restaurants that appear to be doing excellent. This mall is easily accessible (not to congested driving in or out) and the exterior is attractive.

Bad: I don't think anyone could walk through this mall without wondering how it is staying alive. Occupancy is terrible and it really creates bad vibes. Unlike the exterior, the interior is very dated.

Currently, this is a mall to get in and get out of once you have what you need. It may have exactly what you need, but this is not a place to hang out or consider as a 'shopping destination' to spend...

I've lived in Columbus Indiana for going on 25 years the Fair Oaks mall was always the one place I would love to go to after school to look through the stores and figure out what else I could possibly buy. But all the stores are starting a close some of my childhood stores have already closed it is very sad to see the Fair Oaks mall going downhill when they were always places in their to go and look around I'm just super glad bath and body works has not closed yet is the 1 place that I love to get my hand lotions and hand...
