I called in the hours pre-empting Hurricane Micheal to ask if they were open, to which I was told they were. The storm must've gotten much worse because shortly after they decided it was best to close up, but instead of shutting down and having me arrive to a closed store, they called me back to inform me, and ask me if I was on the way (I was, and luckily I live just down the street). Given the circumstances, I would've completely understood if they had closed between me calling and arriving, but the fact they were willing to stay open just a bit longer for a random customer really exemplifies going above and beyond customer service. Incredible. Great staff, clean environment, fast check out. This store has such friendly and convenient service it's more akin to grabbing a drink from a buddy's house than it is to making a run to your average liqour store. My friend and I decided to stop here on the way home after work to pick up a bottle of whiskey. We will not be returning though because they were very rude to us and were not helpful at all. They looked at us like we were trash even though we were just getting off work so of course we weren't going to be the cleanest people in the world. I was trying to buy some Christmas gifts, and the cashier swapped out my bottle of Jager for a chilled one while I wasn't looking. I get home to find condensation all over the bottles (not good for wrapping), and the labels on the bottles got soggy and are now abused looking.
