Alot of reviews are mentioning the fried rice not having veggies or meat included, YOU CAN GET IT EITHER WAY. plain fried rice comes with nithing in it, any fried rice with a meat or shrimp in it comes with plenty of veggies added. You can customize the fried rice as well. My father has asked for no egg, no peas, ect and each time they were happy to do so. Lin China on Schomburg Rd is the best chinese spot in Columbus. Guranteed. The Lomein is perfect, unlike places that give you spaghetti noodles disguised as Lomein. The Crab Rangoons are always crispy on the outside and warm and full of flavor on the inside. They fill the dishes plenty with the right ration of each ingrediant. Never gotten a bland dish from them. Sometimes there may be a wait at rush hour times, but if you call 15 minutes ahead you rarely have to wait at all. The prices, the cooking, i know theyre on the northside of Columbus but they are worth the drive in my opinion. Other places have started changing up recipes due to inflation and Lin China hasnt seemed to follow that trend thankfully. Nough said, choose them if you...
Read moreThis used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in town, but ever since the lady that had been there for years left last year, the food is just kitten same. Even after trying it several different times. While I can appreciate the rice being perfectly cooked prior to it being fried, that’s just what it is-instead of actual fried rice, it’s cooked rice with whatever meat. As a foodie and culinary fanatic there idealist little to NO polished to fry the rice, which defeats the purpose of the dish. I sled for $2.00 worth of extra shrimp and that wasn’t included as well. I ordinarily order at least 3-4 entrees for 3 members of my family to share. I’m sorry to say, it just isn’t the same. I ordered scallops and broccoli, and included were the tiniest scallops I had ever seen, and only about 6-8 of the, and a container FULL of broccoli and sauce. This restaurant was GREAT...
Read moretoday was my 2nd experience ordering from Lin China. The 1st time was a simple order for shrimp fried rice. The order was very good, with large clean shrimp and nice flavor.
Today, I ordered General Tso's chicken. Nearly halfway through the food, it dawned on me that what I was mostly eating was General Tso's batter. ALL CRUNCH - NO SIGN OF CHICKEN. I thought, " what a CLEVER" way to minimize the meat rations as a business. How many customers would figure this out, and how log would it take for them to realize this?
I am pretty disappointed with ANY business that fails to deliver the expectations of their claims and requests of the patrons. I am an avid consumer and customer service professional, so I will be unlikely to patronize this establishment again. New to the area, I will look for other businesses. uuggh! ...
