We have used this company 3 times.
The first was warranty work, the dishwasher worked for a week and then stopped. There seemed to be a short after it was worked on. We called them back out to check it, since they were the last ones to touch it. The service tech comes in and says, “Oh, your electricians didn’t connect the connections right… the electric caps are loose” I looked at him and said what electricians?!? “The ones who put the dishwasher in” Nope, I told him, YOU were the last one to touch it. The unit is already a year old and you pulled it out to replace the brain box. He tightens a few wire nuts and then said, “oh yeah, well it should be fine now. That will be 125.00” WTHeck! I paid, but I wasn’t happy about it. THE NEXT DAY, it stops again. I crawl under there. The wire connections were never the problem, it was the plastic connection that plugs into the unit behind the right front foot… it was loose. 125.00 for absolutely nothing!
I tried to call another company out to work on our LG refrigerator, but they don’t work on LG’s. So, I talk to hubby and we agree to give C.A. another chance… we are good people and believe in giving the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has a bad day right?
I placed the call to repair my ice maker and door hinge. I explained to the woman over the phone EXACTLY what we were needing already aware, because I haven’t had time to do the work myself.
I forgot to mention, there are no “set” appointment time/day. No scheduling, none. C.A. will call or text you the morning of and you had better be available or too bad for you.
The tech comes out… same guy that tried to blame someone else for HIS mistake (not a big fan of people who do this)
He says oh you need a new ice maker… I knew that. I ask about the hinge and he said he wasn’t told about a hinge. I explained I told the receptionist exactly what parts were needed and what service we wanted. He says, oh she is always like that. She never writes everything down. Geez. So he writes down two of the parts without even looking at it, only opening and closing the door. Doh!
He writes the ticket up, another 125.00. We ask about his return visit and how their pricing works. It will be another 125.00 plus parts, plus labor the next time he says. Uggg. We hand him our CC and he looks at the time. “I gotta call this is so the girls can run it. It Friday and the girls like to stop answering the phones early. They are planning a party for after work….” They run our card. He says it will be a couple of weeks probably. Then he stands around and just talks and talks about everything but the work. I finally had to escort him to the door to get him to leave.
So…We wait and wait for the parts, the phone call, the text, something. I text the receptionist after a couple of weeks and to let someone know we will be on vacation for 9 days xx/xx-xx/xx and then we will be back home after that. Hoping someone will call. That was two months ago. No word from anyone. I would call but honest to God….I just don’t want to deal with this company anymore. They have taken 250.00 of our money and done absolutely Zero.
I finally ordered the parts for the fridge online it took all of 3 days to get them. I’ll fix it myself and it will STAY fixed.
I do not recommend this company at all! Nope. The first time shame on me, second time shame on you! No more 3rd time.
PS If you have an LG and need it fixed.. you tube it and do it yourself. Super easy to work on, if you...
Read moreVery disappointed in this company. I ordered a fridge from Home Depot and when it came there was a dent/wave in the door so I called Home Depot and they used Comanche Appliance to install new doors for me on the fridge. When the technician came, he smelled terrible like a pack of cigarettes and then asked for my help when installing the doors (holding them while he connected them). Well, the right door that came was not LG (at least it didn't have the logo on it) and was dented/wavy worse than the original one. To be fair, I don't know if Home Depot or Comanche Appliance made the order for the new ones. Well, I told the tech that the right door is even worse than the first one so just to put the first one back on; but he scratched it all up taking it off - so I told him to just leave it and I'll call Home Depot. I called Home Depot and they were going to send another replacement but somehow Comanche Appliance "didn't get the order" so Home Depot called them to confirm and when Home Depot spoke to Comanche Appliance, they told them that the project is already finished/completed and that the doors were fine... WHAT??? Comanche Appliance's explanation was "that's just the way the door is supposed to be"... well then why is the one on the left perfectly fine - and if Home Depot was willing to replace the one that was dented, why the heck would you stop them - don't they want the money for the project whether they agree with the replacement or not?? If home depot is willing to send me 14 doors until I get one that looks like the left one that is perfectly fine, why wouldn't they be willing to take the money from Home Depot for the project until I get a good door?? ..... so now here I am trying to undo their comment so that I can get a door that doesn't blind you when you walk by it by the light reflecting in the dent. I would choose another company for...
Read moreIts taken a while to let others know my own disgusting experience with this company. They will lie lie lie. Record everything especially if a service man named Brian shows up. The genius managed to pull the cord on my 1944 General electric refrigerator ( they weren't even there to look at that one) causing it to arc several times so much he melted the cord. He proceeded to lie to his company my wife my landlord. Luckily we all got it sorted out no thanks to the hillbilly company of Comanche appliance. Btw my refrigerator from 1944 is in perfect working order and the one yall fixed was thrown out about a year after our fun experience. And comanche appliance of course is still passing the buck. I inspected every inch of that fridge before I...
