The Pena Loca was big enough for 2 people. We had a bit of a problem with the lady who took our order though. We gave our order and let her know we didn't want the Mexican Sausage/ Chorizo in it just substitute more chicken. My friend doesn't like the chorizo they serve. She told us it wasn't in it and we explained that the menu says it is. She says OK and walks off. From that point on we were not able to get her attention for help. Cheyenne I think that's her spelling came over to help us. Someone else brought our food and still no waitress. You guessed it the Mexican Sausage was in there. We ate around it because the rest of it was amazing. As we were finishing the waitress came back to see if we were ready for the check or anything. I nicely told her no that the other waitress took care of us. There's more but you get the gist. Great food, great atmosphere and Cheyenne were great. I always give people the benefit of the doubt in case of a hard day. But she spent most of her time talking to a couple of guys the whole time we were there. As I said the food was...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible. First time in here so I straight ask if they have a taco dinner plate. Because I’m looking for tacos, rice and beans. I was going to order an option that had the rice and beans but the girl recommended the tacos de Jalisco. On the tacos I told her no cilantro and onion. Only sour cream and cheese. I get the order and turns out there’s a million little cups that come with the order. Of which I find the sour cream and cheese in. So I basically got tortillas and meat and I had to put the sour cream and cheese on. If I wanted a build my own tacos I would’ve gone to the grocery store. I did not order them as sides. I ordered them as to go on the tacos. ALSO. No rice and beans. Just chips and salsa of which the salsa container was flimsy and broke I the bag. The tacos were average. So all I got was a drink and build your own tacos for $23! I go to the other restaurants in the area and at least I get the food prepared how I asked for cheaper. Never going back or...
Read moreBeen twice. Seated almost immediately. If busy, the larger tables get more focus (6 or more). Small dining area, Small place but then it is located in Comanche. There is a bar and other dining areas tables in both areas with the tall tables in the Bar area. There are booths in the other dining area careful they sit low to the ground. Tables are better. There food is ok. I've had better coming from the big cities. Their 'spicy' plates aren't spicy to those liking spicy, for example the Diablo Shrimp is more tomato, but for those who are beginning their path to spicy foods or in the middle it's good. The mixed drinks, well they taste funny. Not like what I'm used to in the big cities. I enjoyed the rum and coke, more cocunutty. Couldn't taste the rum The people there are nice they want you to enjoy yourself. It's worth a try, you may think differently. I do enjoy the small...
