Dosner Organic farms — Local services in Commerce

I'm a commercial truck driver. I haul containers out of the ports of Long Beach & LA. I brought a load to Dosner Organic Farms. It was the first time dealing with them. They have 2 or 3 loading docks there. I was the only semi there at the time but there were several box trucks there. I pulled up only a few seconds before like 4 or 5 of the box trucks. Needless to say the other drivers were extremely aggressive and would have quickly gone in ahead of me had it not been for the dock supervisor stopping them. So, I basically ushered in to the dock. The load I had was boxes that were stacked on the bed of the truck, not on pallets. So they had to off load one box at a time. They were all very professional and accommodating. SHADY COMPANY. I called them to find out where their basil was sourced (I got food poisoning a couple weeks ago and there was an FDA recall) A manager called me back and wouldn't or couldn't tell me the country of origin and just said "that was one farmer in Mexico" upon further research, they get their basil from Mexico. I was polite and just trying to figure out if I can safely consume the basil.
