THE Food was Good for me .

Service From Young girl Was Dumbfounding after Paying and getting recipet I was going to grab my food That was sitting Rght on the counter And she Said NO to Wait One second, For literally Absolutely nothing ? she put her head back to look at whatever had her attention . And after 15 seconds I told her “i really dont like waiting blindly What exactly am I waiting for!?” She than told me i can Grab my food . I blanked out for a second and questioned is this my food cause like i said i had just tried to grab it just less than a minute ago!?!? She didnt Awnser obviously mad That i told her i dont like waiting “blindly” sounds rude but what i mean is she can at least tell me what im waiting For and if so, how long? so i can go wait in my car ! So anyways she says that Thats my. In that moment I wanted to ask What in the actual hell did she make me wait for ? Just so you can be rude Take a second to do something personal ehile o wait for my food sitting right in front of me . Just my food sitting In the bag getting cold. It was a phone order so it was already ready when i got There . Being Dumb for absolutely no reason I didnt even do nothing I cant Stand People Wit weird vibes and Ugly souls ! Ridiculous. FOOD IS...

A gem. I'm not a Mexican craving person but today I was like.. I want 2 plain tacos please. I wanted a bite without going over $5 bucks. 2 small tacos came out to $3.10. Each small taco was $1.39. About the tacos. They were generously filled with protein. So much so I thought they were the big tacos. I got 1 carnitas, 1 el pastor. Just bomb. Meat was perfectly seasoned. Perfect amount of oil on tortillas. I ate in..and to my surprise my tacos came with chips and salsa. A bargain for $3.10. The location is very clean and updated. I saw a menu outside which states a early bird special breakfast for $3.99. I'm definitely coming back for it. Update: my tacos were soo good I came back for seconds the next day. Ordered 3 large tacos. Meat seasoning was consistent and fresh so I keep...

The restaurant atmosphere is what you would expect in this neighborhood, but the ladies running it make it feel like you're at your abuelita's house on a weekend morning waiting for breakfast.

I ordered the pozole and asked if they could toast some birote and add butter to it...because that's what my abuelita does. They had no issues with me asking for an "off the menu" side dish which is cool.

Here is my opinion on the pozole: the granos (hominy) felt like they opened a can from the local store which is not bad, but not what I consider "home made". The pork was good, but it's significantly better at Gallo Giro a few blocks away along with the granos. HOWEVER, the caldito was eye opening, it was fantastic! Maybe the best...

I asked a friend if there were any good places for lunch in that area and he said I had to go to the hood and recommended this place. I tried their Tuesday special and wasn't disappointed. It looks spicy but it wasn't, it was actually really good, with the hand made tortillas to mop up the sauce. Ladies beware: their unisex bathroom isn't the best. Friendly staff and they checked on my table twice. Prices are reasonable.

Ordered cafe de olla, pozole, amd red chicken enchiladas. They bright us some fresh chips (homemade) and salsa. The food was delicious and tasted exactly like how my grandma used to cook. The service was wonderful, very attentive and thoughtful. The server right to ask my daughter if she'd like the pulp out of the piña agua since she had time. Very sweet of her to ask. Only downside is they only accept cash.
