Sunset West Apartments — Local services in Conneaut

I lived at sunset west for a little over 4 years. When things were broken maintenance fixed it with in a decent time frame. Management was very easy to work with when things came up. When my accross neighbors harrassed my family especially my young son. Management helped me to navigate the very serious issue. Also not to mention the manager at sunset west held a Christmas gift charity to help the residents and locals outside of sunset west every year for christmas. Communication was always very good. Sometimes the parking lot during heavy snows was difficult to navigate. But we do live in north eastern ohio, so sometimes unavoidable. Especially when you try and leave for work at 5 am. Currently live here 1.5 years and love it. No issues within my apartment, all repairs have been dealt with promptly. Diana the Manager on-site since I've resided since 2024 has been knowledgeable, answers my questions and when needed will call me to relay answers within 8 hours, replaced refrigerator when it was acting up within 1 day with new fridge saving any food to go to waste, thank you. Great personality. Any problems/issues she will help solve it quickly. Friendly, caring manager due to also helping me live in an apartment all by myself and not used to it, which helped a great deal. Goes beyond to work well with renters. Answers her phone all the time when I call. Acknowledges me when I go into the office by: hi how are you today, how can I make your day better or what can I do for you. I applaud Diana for showing me that apartment living can be great!...

Living here is...alright. Not the greatest by any means. If you decide to move in, be prepared to buy plenty of lamps. There is no ceiling lighting. Theres also no central heat or air (They have baseboard heaters and you have to buy a window unit for AC. )

And now a new issue has cropped up. Apparently they are locking the building with your mail box in it. This is something that has just started happening unless it is a prank being pulled by someone who lives here. I can understand needing to be secure, but locking people out so they cant get their mail? This also blocks off one of the...
