Fast Break Cafe — Restaurant in Conneaut

My husband and I were looking for REAL FOOD this morning for breakfast (actually, I was…he eats anything :) so I googled and saw Fast Break Cafe. I looked at the menu and saw avocado toast, fresh fruit, eggs, greens and decided I could easily enjoy this menu !! We went in, Levi, the nicest young man EVER…greeted us and explained things to us, answered questions we had about their opening and their food,etc. And then we proceeded to order. Like I said, hubby is easy, he ordered OFF THEIR MENU! I, on the other hand, asked if I could create my own plate picking and putting together various foods from the menu, and he said SURE! I was shocked and pleased! The chef whipped up this beautiful plate of good food! Healthy food! Delicious food! Without complaining about this “difficult” customer as my husband was probably thinking😬 Hubby and I give it 5 starts all around! Thank you Fast Break Cafe! We will be back and we will spread the word that you’re the best kept secret in Conneaut and the entire surrounding area! Oh yes! Also, their coffee is really good! You gotta go...

We must have gotten them on a bad day. First time for all four of us to try this breakfast place. The reviews were amazing. We weren’t prepared for no iced teas, no breakfast juices, no lemon for water, no pop (soda) of any kind. Only wheat and white toast choices. Food for three of us was lukewarm/cold. Three of our party were served the wrong food. My husband was done eating before my cousin’s food even got to the table. Cousin’s food was piping hot! The food was the only bad part of the morning. The young ladies who were serving were very sweet. It’s unusual that no bill is given. You pay whatever they tell you at the register. Just happened to be walking into save a lot and seen the sign for Fast Break Cafe. Decided to try them out seeing that they were right next door. The staff was very friendly from the minute we walked through the door. The menu choices all looked very good. I went with the shrimp and grits, which were very delicious and quite filling for the price. My fiance got the corned beef wrap which looked amazing and the price was also very reasonable. Staff was very attentive while we waited for our food to arrive. The setting is simple but relaxing and the music was great. Would recommend if you're in the area or looking for a great meal at a reasonable price. I will be back to try one of the...
