Do not go unless you live in that newly built subdivision. I thought it was a public park and pond but my tickets verified that it is not. G.W will ticket you out the wou haw! From how it is advertised you would think it was for public use. That is how this Precinct is making there $. By deceiving people and then giving them a bunch of tickets for being on private land then when you go to court and present the evidence of no signage saying no trespass/private land that all signage was inviting the D.A will not hear nor see the evidence and hit you with the ticket fines and their administration fees on top of that. It's a major trap....
Read moreSaw this place on Google and decided to go on a whim without reading too much about it so finding the entrance was a little tough. There's a sign for the pond itself but no parking lot. Ended up parking across the street in front of the park but was nervous we'd find a ticket or get towed. Fish were small but my friend did end up catching a few bluegill.
As a hangout spot this place is really nice but as a fishing spot its meh. Maybe when the fish grow up...
