Ruchi’S Indian cuisine Conroe — Restaurant in Conroe

I typically avoid leaving negative reviews, but the experience my family and I endured at Ruchi's Indian Cuisine in Conroe was so appalling that I feel compelled to share it to caution others. Our visit to this establishment was, without a doubt, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever encountered.

We arrived during lunchtime with our two young children, hoping for a pleasant meal. Unfortunately, what we received was far from pleasant. After placing our order, we were left waiting for an agonizing 15 minutes with no updates or assurances. Meanwhile, another couple, who happened to be non-Indian, arrived after us, placed their order, and received their appetizer within 15 minutes.

To our dismay, as we continued to wait, that couple not only finished their appetizer but also received and nearly completed their main course, all while we were still waiting for our appetizer. Our frustration reached its peak as we realized our family had been blatantly overlooked.

When I finally spoke to the attendant, it was out of sheer frustration and disappointment. I informed her of our decision to leave due to their abysmal customer service and vowed never to return. I also feel it is my duty to warn others about this establishment.

To anyone considering dining at Ruchi's Indian Cuisine in Conroe, I urge you to reconsider. The lack of attention, disregard for customers, and overall neglect we experienced were unacceptable. I will be advising my friends and family to steer clear of this restaurant, and I hope this review serves as a warning to future patrons.

Dining out should be an enjoyable experience for everyone, including families with children. Unfortunately, Ruchi's Indian Cuisine failed us miserably, and I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve...

Incredibly delicious Indian food has FINALLY opened close to home! We’ve been here twice now and I swear the second time was somehow even better than the first (the first time was also 5 stars)! What we’ve tried so far- Tandoori chicken- great flavor and very tender! Butter chicken- so rich and creamy! My personal favorite so far! Chicken tikka masala- such tender chicken! Also very creamy! Lamb biryani- the lamb is so tender and the biryani is cooked so well with great flavor! Garlic naan- so delicious dipped in the curry! Also a favorite! Mango lassi- so refreshing and creamy. I do wish it came in a bigger size! We literally finish them before we get to the second stop light on the way home because they are SO good.

Everyone there is so kind. The food comes out quickly and our order has been correct both times. We are so excited to go back again and try more. Please support this amazing Indian restaurant! It’s better than anything we’ve had in The Woodlands and Spring as well!

Our entire family was absolutely thrilled with the delicious food and friendly service from the family.

The flavors were so rich and on point. Veggie samosas were hot and crispy. Came with a sweeter tamrind like sauce and green yogurt like sauce. So yummy! Apolla fish was amazing. Velvety, hot, fresh seafood. Goat Roast was creamy and had great flavor. Saag Paneer was smooth and cheesy. Garlic Naan was garlicky and buttery. Butter chicken was super buttery and had phenomenal taste. Mango lassi was sweet and fresh & the Gulab jamun was sweet and honeyed with syrup.

Every time I crave Indian food, you can bet Ruchi's will be the first spot on my mind. Conroe is very lucky to have this delicious Indian restaurant nearby.

I highly recommend this restaurant to all locals and visitors. Book online to ensure you have a seat!
