St. Somewhere Spa — Local services in Conroe

We called in a day before to set up an appointment for 3 people for the happy hour 50 min massage. We weren't told of any "rules" that applied to the massages when we made our appointments. We get in 20 mins before our set appointments and let them know our names and what time we were booked, we informed them that the third person was pregnant and wouldn't be attending because she wasn't feeling well. Paula was the one who "helped" us and from the start had an attitude. She had us repeat what we were there for and who we were about 3 times. She let us know that company policy that there was 24 hour cancellation fee, and that we had to pay for the full service amount and that we should have called before we walked in for the third person. Again we weren't told any of this on the phone the day before. She then proceeds to ask how many weeks pregnant our third person was and then says she wouldn't have been able to get the service because she isn't in her second trimester and didn't book the prenatal massage. Again no one asked us these questions when we booked the appointments the day before. I ended up paying for the unused appointment. I wish I could give this Spa ZERO STARS!!! My daughter scheduled my husband and I a couples massage and OMG the massage ladies were like super elderly ladies which wouldn't have been an issue if they actually knew how to give a massage. My back was actually hurting worst when I left. She asked and I made it a point to tell her my lower back was my troubled spot and she never touched it at all!!! It was by far the worst massage I've ever had and definitely not worth $320 and they include the gratuity. My husband is very passive and handled everything checking out because if I had been alone it wouldn't have been pretty. Paula, at the front desk was very nice so I kept my cool. I would never return ,even if it were free and I would never recommend it to anyone. Shop around before going to this Spa, no matter what you find it will be much better! A word to management, if you're going to charge people top dollar for a massage you really need to hire experienced, good people to work for you. Most customers most likely never complain because that's the customary way to be but when I'm spending my money I expect to get...

This spa is exceptional! I wandered in on a whim and was warmly greeted by staff at the front desk. The spa director was there who introduced herself and graciously gave me a tour of the spa. The whole environment was cozy and serene. The robes they provide are super soft and luxurious like a weighted blanket. I could have been fine waiting in that robe and sipping a complimentary mimosa but before I knew it they were ready to pamper me!

First I saw Connie who gave me the Milk and Honey Body Bliss scrub which felt amazing. Connie has magic hands. Then I sat in the steam room to relax a bit before I had my hydro-facial with Gracie. She put me at ease as it was my very first facial and afterward my skin felt incredible!
