I took a dress here that I absolutely love, just needing a small tightening by the zipper. I got it back and it does not fit anymore. It’s much tighter on my hips, lumpy on the butt, and has lots of unflattering fabric rolls around the waist. They cut so much fabric and sewed messy/uneven lines all along the back that were not necessary and never asked for. There are a bunch of threads left sticking out and random sewn bits. I should have tried it on there but it wasn’t offered and I was very busy and left town the next day. I took it to another seamstress who was shocked at the job and said it couldn’t be fixed because of the amount of fabric cut. I’m really disappointed with the work. This is what I received back on the second go around as I sent it back the first time. Nell spoke about how they had a cobbler that came to pick up and drop off every week, but she didn’t give this purse to him. Instead one her associates did it. The first time it was even worse. Instead of giving it to the cobbler the second time around since obviously she didn’t know how to properly make the strap, she gave it back to the same lady! I’m tired to sending it back now.
