Lauren did a great job on my hair; she actually understood what I wanted done, color wise. The other stylists seem very talented as well; as I observed their skills while getting my hair done.

Above was my first experience with this salon and I still agree, Lauren does great with color. I have since paid for a haircut however, and she trimmed half an inch only. She was distracted that day, but there is no need to go into that. I've watched other's have their hair done and come and go as I was still there, waiting on color to set or whatever...I always felt somewhat discounted, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. One time the girl ahead of me got pictures taken of her hair and everyone made a big fuss..with me, I pay, tip and no one ever says anything about my hair. This is personal stuff and I do realize it could be just me. I do want to write though, that I hadn't been in for about a year, due to Covid 19. I texted Lauren that I needed an appointment. She told me she was about to have surgery and would be out for a month. I wished her well, and she volunteered to give other staff my information, and said one of them would contact me. They never did. I do have scalp psoriasis and maybe no one wants to deal with that, but I keep it controlled the best I can as there is no cure. I just wish they would come out and say that or even make up a lie like they aren't taking new customers now or something; anything would be better than no response. I find that...

I can't say enough about stylist Jennifer @ The Beauty Bar. My teen picks pictures from Pinterest and walks in to Jennifer, shows her the photo, and leaves looking/feeling like a million bucks. We've had her do baby highlights, baylayage, full highlights...we've thrown the book at her and she's NEVER disappointed. Homecoming time...Jennifer E was the only person we trusted. Don't go there for a haircut, I had an appointment with kaitelin or some girl whose name starts with K and she Absolutely missunderstood what I want it. I told her I wanted layers and she just cut it super short without layers. The lenght of My hair was to the Lowest part of my back and this lady snipped it off to the length of my shoulders in a few snips with sisors. When I SPECIFICALLY SAID I WANT LAYERS she Did not understand at all what I wanted. I was so heartbroken to see how short my hair had been cut without me wanting that!
