This is not a typical move theater so you need to prepare in advance and have the right expectations.
This theater has transformed into a high end movie watching experience. The typical fold down seats have been upgraded to fully reclining (electric motor), leather, lazy-boy style chairs. This is is wonderful because it allows two things. The first is that it gives you a ton of leg room so that you are not having to get up everything someone in your isle needs to use the restroom or grab a refill. The second is that is allows even the closest seats to be great seats because there is no need to strain your neck.
The byproduct of these great new seats is that there are far fewer seats in the theater. This leads to the biggest complaint I hear about, assigned seating. I would argue that assigned seats are great, as long as you are prepared. This allows you to ensure you get the best seat possible and reserve your tickets days in advance. You no longer need to worry about getting to the theater an hour in advance to ensure good seats, enough seats together for your group, or that it will be sold out when you get there. You can spend a little more time at dinner or the bar to take full advantage of your night out.
The concessions are very nice, the food is good, there are a lot of options, and there are free refills of soda and drinks if you purchase the largest size. The cost is a little high, but there is no requirement to purchase anything.
The ticket prices are a little higher than most as well. However, the experience is well worth the extra expense. Again, this is a high end theater. If cost if a major factor for you, there are other theaters in the area that may be a better choice. However, if you are looking for a great movie experience, there are none in the area that can come close.
Treat this movie theater like a live theater. You should purchase tickets in advance, expect to spend a little extra money, and prepare for an experience that is above your typical...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBack to back very disappointing experiences! Bought tickets a few hours early for John Wick 3 during opening weekend. Came back for the later showing that I was told that I purchased (but didn't look at the receipt). When we got back to the later show, it turns out I was sold tickets for the earlier show and they didn't have any tickets left anymore for our showing (that's why I tried buying them early). They got us into a showing 30 minutes later and gave us free passes for our next visit. OK, fine great. We dealt with it. Fast-forward to tonight for opening night of Lion King. Got to the theater early because I knew the screens would likely sell out. Was able to get tickets for a 9:30pm showing using our free passes (3 1/2 hours later). Get back to the theater about 9pm to buy popcorn and soda and chill out before the movie. 9:30pm comes and goes. Everyone is sitting there waiting for the movie to start. Finally 15 minutes later a worker comes in and explains that the projector was not working properly and handed out free passes. We were told we could wait until the 10:30pm show if we still wanted to see the movie. We had already been sitting there since 9pm and the movie wasn't really going to start until closer to 11pm. Popcorn and soda were basically gone at this point and our Friday night was invested into this movie that we didn't see. Makes it difficult to want to go back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI canāt believe how cheap this place is. And not in a good way cheap, the prices are ridiculous. Iām talking about how I purchased a Groupon that included two tickets and a popcorn and a drink. I also purchased a separate Groupon for one more ticket and another for two additional drinks. For whatever reason the Groupon was messed up and only sent me 2 drink vouchers. They said it happened to somebody else earlier in the day as well, so they knew of the issue. I realize itās not their fault that the Groupon did not work correctly, but I was able to provide them my receipt, which showed them that I had purchased three drinks. I spent the rest of my money on these tickets and refreshments, so I was unable to purchase another one. Groupon could not assist me immediately and I had to get to the movie so I asked if they could just give me one more cup because I was able to show them I paid for it. Itās literally just one little cup... Thereās no way that that is going to hurt their pockets considering how much they charge for literally everything. One single little cup and they refused to give it to me. How pathetic is that? I had proof that I paid for it and they refused to give me what I paid for and they were very rude about it. I was so upset it literally ruined my night. Treat your customers better! Without them you would have nothing! Last time I will ever be going to...
