We cannot say enough good things about California Pools Corona and Jeremy! We started our pool building process with a ton of research – interviewed a half dozen different builders, read all their reviews, checked with BBB and Contractors State License Board for each. Time consuming, yes, but this was a huge decision/purchase and wanted to get it right. Will try to focus on the highlights in this review that might help as you go through your process.

Jeremy was accommodating from the beginning, working with our sometimes-difficult schedules to meet with us as many times as needed to get to a final quote. CPC final quote was not the absolute cheapest, but with everything included, and comfort level with Jeremy, was the best value for the money on paper. Once signed, Jeremy was all over the project and got us through the initial planning and permit process faster than expected, and well within the timeframe he estimated. Jeremy did a tremendous job keeping us updated on schedules and progress and was always prompt to answer any questions.

Very pleased with the care taken by the CPP crew with existing landscaping and things like general daily clean-up and closing of gates. Just great attention to the little details that make something like this run smoothly. Jeremy went out of his way to help us with things that were definitely not part of the scope of the pool, sacrificing his personal time to make sure all elements of our “pool oasis” project came together. There was great peace of mind while the project was being completed knowing we had a partner in this process, not just a vendor.

Overall, the project was completed on budget and on time. No surprises along the way. Very pleased with the quality of the final product, from pool to spa to firepit to pavers, all came out great!

I contacted CA Pools and had them come out to my home for an estimate. Erik came out and we talked about having a pool and hot tub built. They only give you a rough estimate unless you pay for a design and proposal. Meanwhile I had been getting bids from other contractors. I called and set up a second appt with Erik and we decided to go thru their process and pay the 300 for a design and hard proposal. About 16 days later I was sent the bid and design. It was much higher than the verbal estimate I received on first appt. We had several emails and conversations over a few days. Last night 11/18 I signed the contract and was going to drop off deposit at their Corona office. Now for the details that still disgust me as a customer. When I first met with Erik as the same for other contractors I said I want this pool ready before next summer. My first appt with CA Pools was about a month or so. The contract stated an estimated 4 months to build pool and start date to be announced. This morning I received a call from Quinton the owner and he explained he had some large jobs coming up and did not think he would be able to do mine. He did not think mine would be done by summer and could not even project a start date. This company needs to re evaluate how they are doing business internally. My pool quote was 88,000 and it surely wasn’t the lowest bid I had. I thought I was going to a reputable business so I would not have headaches but it all started way before my pool dig. I put in my cancellation for the contract and now my hunt for another contractor will start. ...
