Stereo Pros — Local services in Corona

Please don't waste your money coming to this shop. The people here are a bunch of scammers and have no concept of customer service. I had my tints done here, bought a touch screen radio console and rims and had them financed. They did a 90 day same as cash without explaining the terms (they said its all explained in the email they will send me). After opening the email, I later found out that after the 90 days are done the whole total of the purchase will amount to 150% of the original purchase price. I tried asking for them to rescind the sale as the rims weren't installed yet and they refused saying the finance company has already wired them the money and that there is nothing they can do ( mind you, the rims haven't been delivered or installed yet). When I called the finance company, I was told there was nothing they can do as I have already signed a contract, which btw was forged so now I'm stuck with payments that are ridiculously high.

After they were done installing the radio and tinting the Windows they left a mess of cut wires and dried up sweat on the panels. I had to go back cos the window tints had noticeable bubbles in it already but it never got fixed with the excuse that they were busy. After the rims were installed, I had to go back again cos there was noticeable shaking and the steering pulled to the right. They added floaters which reduced the shaking somewhat but had to get an alignment and wheel balancing somewhere else. It's as if they either have never installed rims before or they just didn't ca

I went back again today cos after having the alignment and balancing done I was told by the mechanic that the lug nuts they installed were cheap and already stripped. He told me to ask for a replacement set from stereo pros and that they will replace it since it is under warranty. When I got there I was told that they will only replace the lug nut that was stripped and that I will have to leave the car(for one lug nut) as the "mechanics" were having lunch(though the sign in the shop said they were open). When I refused to leave the car there and asked if it could be intstalled as it would take 2mins tops, the salesperson/owner called me rude. When I mentioned how much money I've spent in his shop I was told " I don't care if you've spent $10,000 you're just gonna have to either leave your car or come back some other day." I was shocked. I didn't want to leave my car to have one lug nut installed and asked if I could just borrow their tool and do it myself. He made me wait as there were other people that came in and tended to them first even though I was there before them and have already spent money there. After finally giving me a tire iron so I can install the lug nut which took less than a minute I was sarcastically thanked by the salesperson/owner for disturbing his "mechanics."

I cannot stress enough to those that want to add a little style to their cars not to do business with these people as they are predators which only care about the bottom line. I shall be filing complaint to the BBB about their business practices particularly the way they do...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE....THIS PLACE IS TOTAL LOSS.... I went to this place to purchase 17" rims and tires for my Ford Focus '14. We got a deal at $1000.Then I offer sales man, Junior, to purchase my stock rims, tires, hubs for $200. So package deal should cost me $800, good deal especially when you try this as present to your family member. I give $400 deposit and promised by "Junior" to done with it next business day. Here is where all my problems with this shop is started. Next day I have been told that rims that I chose not available!!! Other words $50 I have to pay more for deferent rims. 2 days later finally I went to install them. Tino present his self as manager and said Junior not there and told me that I need new lugs and its going cost me more. Wow really..... I asked for my deposit back, but answer was NO. After day of texting with Junior on text messages we agree that they will complete all job for $850. Next day I come over and they install them. On 2nd day my car compute detected flat tires sensor error. So, on the time I been in Los Angeles area and went to different shop to find out what's going on. I found that 4 tires pressure sensor is missing and only 10 lugs is the right ones and other 10 is wrong from original stock rims. Can you believe I drove 65 miles per hour for 90 miles and can die in car accident only because of this place. OMG. Today 07/14/14 I called Stereo Pros and talk to Junior, He said that I need to purchase new sensors. OMG. REALLY????? I told him that it is not fair and my have complains about it. He just hangs up on me. I went to store to face that person. I ask for my stock sensors back so I can install them myself. The answer was "It's not gonna happened". They don't need my business??? I said that i will take this incidence to court. SO here is interesting part...... 2 big guys Junior and Tino get close to my face and start threaten me physical and telling all kind of bad words anything you can hear from street gangsters. Junior specially said: In place where his from they do so much "Bad things"(I didn't call here in respect for viewers) with people like me. OMG where I'm??? Oh, no, this business forgot where they are! This is America NOT Middle East countries!!! When I was walking out Junior offer me to meet with him somewhere and talk like a man. Direct treat. When I as walking out the store he spit on my jeans from behind. I called police and got incident report.

It will cost me $539 more to install and set new tire pressure sensors, in different shop of course!

I entrusted Stereo Pros to install running boards, a front grill, and front parking sensors on my vehicle. What followed was a tragic comedy of errors that could make your head spin.

🔧 Ineptitude Beyond Belief: Junior's lackey, Omar (later supposedly fired), should win an award for the worst store manager/installer ever. The running boards were adjusted multiple times, exposing their utter lack of skill.

🔧 Breach of Trust and Negligence: The front parking sensors installation was a disaster of epic proportions. Omar promised to remove the front bumper assembly, but holes were drilled into it like Swiss cheese. The sensors went haywire, and Omar's claims about "manufacturer guidelines" were laughable, especially when I caught them in the act.

🔧 Lies and More Lies: Omar's lies knew no bounds. He agreed to hide the sensor console, but it ended up glaring from my dashboard. When caught, he tried to gaslight me by saying it was our agreement.

🔧 Damage Done: The damage from their ineptitude was heartbreaking—frayed wires and chaos. Omar's attempts at repairs were worse than the initial mess. My 2022 Kia Telluride now bears the scars of their negligence.

🔧 Junior's Legacy of Betrayal: Enter Junior, the mastermind behind this debacle. His promises to investigate were empty, mirroring Omar's deceit. Birds of a feather, it seems.

🔧 Charged for Nothing: Oh, and they charged me $440 for unfinished work. Running boards were installed, but the rest? Nowhere to be found. It's not just about the money—it's about integrity.

✅ Bottom Line: Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Stereo Pros and its puppet master, Junior. This isn't a business—it's a lesson in betrayal. Spread the word and save others from this nightmare.
