Rolland & Jessica — Local services in Cottage Grove

I was looking for a photographer for my wedding (July 4, 2015) & one of my friends referred Rolland & Jessica. I contacted them to shoot our engagement photos, which we had so much fun doing. A few months later they captured our wedding day. They are both open to anything when it comes to getting that perfect photo(s) you want. They are both easy to work with, fun, patient & very reasonable. On my wedding day they came on the party bus with the entire bridal court. What photographer is down to come on the party bus after a ceremony? They were. So glad that they did. They captured amazing photos & memories that will last a lifetime. A few days after the wedding they did a family photo shoot of my husbands side. So glad they could capture that for us while everyone was all together at the same place. Made our hearts happy that we could do a family photo shoot. We recently did a photo shoot of just me, my husband & our daughter. Although we all got rained on we had tons of fun trying to find another place that wasn't raining but it was like the rain was following us. We finally pulled over at a spot on the side of the road & it was perfect. Our 3 year old had so much fun & we brought some props to incorporate in our shoot. The way Rolland & Jessica work together is awesome it really shows how much love they have for each other & what they do. I am so grateful my friend referred them to us. What's great about them also is they're turn around time is so fast. Which doesn't have to keep you in suspense very long. I’ve been putting off writing this review because I’ve been having a hard time putting into words how Rolland and Jessica made the special day I’ve been planning better than I could have ever imagined. I was planning on proposing to my girlfriend at the end of a photoshoot on our vacation in Maui. My girlfriend and I always talked about getting professional photos done over the years, and we unfortunately had never made it a priority in the 10 years being together - there was always something that came up. With this photoshoot having significant meaning and importance to me, the search for a photographer for our first ever photoshoot and my nerve-wracking proposal was long and difficult because they needed to meet the list of my high expectations. Rolland and Jessica exceeded all of them. From their passion and knowledge of their equipment and location, the excitement and sincerity they had when I was explaining how I envisioned the proposal (as well as during the photoshoot), to how comfortable they made us feel, how funny and easygoing they were, the color and quality of the pictures, and most importantly, how they captured our special moment perfectly, I can’t say enough how incredibly amazing they are. A few of our family and friends even mentioned how they cried looking through the photos because they felt like they were there to share our day. From the Bride: Where do I start? When on the search for booking a photographer for our wedding our Wedding Planner gave us suggestions, the only one that stood out to me was Rolland. The first time that we spoke over the phone, I knew that I've made the right choice. It seemed as if I knew Rolland all my life. He was so easy to talk to. Fast forward to our wedding rehearsal. Rolland met us at our Venue, and instantly we just clicked, and he made it so easy to work with him, he treated me and my husband like family. All of the photos that he took came out BEAUTIFUL!!!
