Hidden Falls — Local services in Cottonwood Heights

Hidden Falls is great. Up Big cottonwood canyon. Park near the S curve and the trailhead is at the top of the S (near the Mill B South parking lot and trail). No sign from the street saying the trail was there, from what I could see. But there's a small, shaded opening along the S road and then there is a small wooden sign once you walk into the clearing. The hike/walk takes a few minutes and the waterfall is delightful. Mossy rocks, rocks to climb, nice spray from the water. Be careful of the abandoned miner shaft thing along the route. There's an opening big enough to fit through and kids would naturally be drawn to explore inside it if you aren't looking! Great for...

We love this short beautiful hike! **However, be very cautious if you decide to leave anything of value in your car. I would suggest you Do Not leave anything as there are people watching where and what you leave behind, even if you have it hidden inside your car which includes your trunk!! We have done this hike at least 10 times over the past 2 years and just today we had our car window broken and multiple wallets/purses & a phone stolen as we had friends and family in town doing the hike with us. Our belongings were in the trunk!! As of recent, during our last few hikes we have noticed broken glass all over the parking lot. Be on the look out and do not leave...

This is a great spot! To get there, park in the middle of the s curve. Make sure you follow the mill b north trail. You will have to cross the road. DO NOT GO ON THE PAVED PATH AT MILL B SOUTH! That will take you to a lake, not the falls. The mineshaft goes on for a bit...
