I changed to Zito from a larger provider two months ago. I changed because of the promise of 1,000 download speeds, 1,000 upload speeds, and more stability. I never had issues with stability from my old provider but the download speeds were 5x faster for 10$ more a month so I jumped on it. The technician that arrived to my house to install the service left drywall all over my carpet, drilled a huge hole into the outside of my house and covers it with see through caulking that looks terrible, and I had to ask the guy to put a plate covering over the hole that let the cable come into my house on the inside. He was going to leave it with just a shoved through cord and drywall dust all over my wall and floor. Then proceeds to use two different types of screws to fasten the plate to the wall and installs it crooked and not even flush to the wall.
Now let's talk about the actual Internet service. In the first week I was disconnected so many times from conference calls due to my Internet just flicking off and on. The first time I called customer support I explained my issue, they had me do the usual 'turn off the router - sign all devices off the Internet - etc...- All the while I'm trying to explain that my internet is currently working but throughout the day it turns off for short periods of time which makes working extremely difficult. The customer service guy told me that my internet was working and he couldn't do any more, I had been on the phone over an hour at this point and couldn't seem to explain to him that my issue had not been resolved. So I asked to speak to a supervisor. The guy completely refused to allow me to speak to anyone else, saying he didn't have the authority to transfer me and that my issue was fixed so "what's the problem, sir?" I hung up and two weeks later was experiencing the same issue again and went through the entire process again. All in all I made 5 hour long phone calls to Zito medias customer service and on the very last phone call this is what I was finally told.
"After looking into your area more closely I can see that the issue you are having is not just on you but is affecting multiple customers in your area. I apologize for the inconvenience but we are aware of this issue and if you could ignore the issue for now we will have it fixed hopefully Ina few week's.. Excuse me sir, months...." Nearly word per word what he said.
As far as the Internet speed goes.... I'm supposed to get 1,000 download speeds and even the sales reps will tell you they want to be seeing at least 66% of that number - alright cool I get that you can't get the fastest constantly. But even if my laptop is connected with an Ethernet cable. I manually disconnect and turn off all other wifi using devices, and speed test the Internet.. I have NEVER gotten over 300 download. 30% of the speed they promised. Less than half of what they guarantee the lowest average speed will be.
TLDR: Customer service is absolutely horrible. WiFi speeds do NOT come close to what they promise. WiFi stability is so much worse than other major providers I've used in the past. DO NOT...

They don’t offer cable in my area so I’m on a transmitter / satellite dish receiver for what I was told would be 30 mbps for $39.99 Sounds like a deal , my AAE is a remote town in the So-Cal desert we don’t have any major internet or cable services .Well that’s when the nightmare started , we never did get speeds beyond the mid teens , zitos excuse was that they needed to set up more towers and my dish was too far from the uplink tower! And that’s is how my fault ? Never received a price adjustment just promises of a new tower in two months that’s been over a year now!!along the way they sporadically cancel my 39.99 rate and increase it to 55 saying that the promotion is over ! Jump ahead to now where I have been without adequate service for 4 months , I have had my rate increased several times then adjusted and raised again ! Repeatedly been with below 2 megabits speeds for 2 months And currently without internet for 3 weeks with 4 missed service calls and multiple we will call you back promises that never happen. All this with a recent rate increase even after it was adjusted again for the 7th time . I will be looking to file a class action law suit currently I’m going diode to door asking zito customers about there negative encounters with this company , I’ve also filed a formal complaint for the city that I live in to investigate zito media for consumer fraud and misrepresentation...
Read moreHorrible ISP. Had it for years now since its the only broadband company that's in my area so I have lots of experience with this company. First year or so we were getting nowhere near the download speeds we were paying for, and eventually that situation got fixed after about an ENTIRE YEAR. Afterwards past year and a half we have been having connection issues. We've called the support team hundreds of times over the timespan of 2019-Now and the situation hasn't gotten any better. Internet will go out multiple times daily, can't seem to maintain a strong connection for longer then a couple of days if we are lucky (which only happens once every couple of months.) We've had multiple people come to the area and claim to have fix the problem and it never gets fixed. We have had numerous "technicians" come to our property as well as come to the town to fix "an area outage" and not once have they fixed the problem. The customer service is an absolute monstrosity, wait times for phone calls are 30m-1h, and they show little interest in fixing any of the issues anyone has been experiencing.
