Bomgaars — Local services in Council Bluffs

Old school customer service from when customers weren't measured by how dollars were spent reach visit. They make you feel like a valued customer just for walking into their store. Save big money at the store down the street? I beg to differ! If you're like me and your time IS money then Bomgaars is where you will save BIG money! The green and the orange box store might be $5 or $10 cheaper on a given item, bit Bomgaars work store managers like Mark at the council bluffs store is $100s cheaper with the excellent customer service. I had already resolved that this day would be hours lost and orders not shipped, but Mark with his old school non cookie cutter thinking and ideas made what I expected would be hours of work into literal minutes and saved me tangibly easy $1000 and intangibly no lost sales and better yet no disatisfied customers!! Thank you Mark and thank you Bomgaars for having managers like Mark that has the customer service skills that can't be taught in a classroom or learned out of a textbook!!! I'm sorry but any store that is too busy to help a customer find something but can spot a customer coming in the store with a small backpack purse and stop them like they're going to rob you blind is bull. I'm no thief. I wouldn't waste my money at this location. The female manager I think her name is barb needs to learn how to be a better judge of character and person if she's going to play security, if not she's going to continue to offend customers just like myself. Y'all lost quite a bit of money...

I visited this store on 11/6 around 1:00 p.m. I purchased three items and was going to pay with cash. Cashier informed me that she couldn’t accept my $100 bill. The cashier then told me that I would need to purchase more items before she would be able to accept my $100 bill as a form of payment. This store should post this policy at their front door. What a joke. I will be taking my business elsewhere...
