Went in yesterday to have mine and my husband’s phone numbers switched from T-Mobile to Metro to lower our monthly payment. First walking in there was nobody inside then we saw the employee in his car on his phone. Took us about 3 tries and 5-7 minutes to get his attention and for him to pick his head up to see he had a customer. Told him what we wanted to do and we were done rather quickly. I asked while we were there if we were going to have to pay our upcoming T-Mobile bill? He said no you won’t have to. Great wonderful. Employee was cool, slightly unprofessional with the loud music playing and dropping f bombs casually in conversation but whatever still seemed like an easy going person. A soon as we left I tried to create a metro account but it wouldn’t work, figured things were still being transferred over. Okay I’ll try later no big deal. A few hours later at home we both get phone calls from T-Mobile saying that something was incorrect, the voicemail was a little hard to make out due to a language barrier. I called the metro store back talked to the same employee and he said “No everything was good on our end. If it didn’t work you wouldn’t be able to make a call.” We called T-Mobile back to verify and it was not good. It took 3 T-Mobile employees and 2 metro employees over the phone for a total of 2 hours to switch our numbers from T-Mobile to Metro. Also the last T-Mobile employee I spoke with verified for me that we do have to pay our last T-Mobile bill. Really didn’t appreciate paying for metro bill upfront at the store and still having to deal with the 2 hour process of switching our numbers over ourselves. If I pay for something I want it to be taken care of not me having to do it. Also don’t appreciate that the incorrect information was given to us about not having to pay our last T-Mobile bill. I was then able to create an actual metro account. I don’t know if the employee needs more training or what but the process wasn’t smooth and definitely not...
Read moreI've been a metro pcs customer for the better part of 10 years now and I have to say I love it. Now that T-Mobile has partnered up with metro it's even better. The service is fantastic, no dead zones( not that there ever really was), variety and quality of phones has expanded immensely. I get unlimited everything and pay $60 a month! with no contract and can leave whenever with no penalty and again the service and quality rivals any other phone company. There is no bill that comes in the mail. On the day you are supposed to pay the bill you can stop by any pcs store and pay it or do it right on your phone through debit/credit card. Some of you might think it's a pain but I actually like the fact that you have to pay it on the due date or they suspend service till it's paid so you have no choice and no late fees if you happen to pay it...
Read moreI have always had good experiences at this store UNTIL yesterday. I was told I was getting a "deal" on a phone + package of stuff I didn't needs (speaker, air pods & charger) for my husband only to receive an email today from an outside company that I was approved for a loan & in total this crap will cost me over $750. My husband was WAY over due for an upgrade. He had the same phone for 4.5 years. I could have gotten a phone for FREE! I AM BEYONG MAD! READ THE FINE PRINT. These are NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICES! Edit: I can not respond to the business comment so I will do so here. Yes, you fell short. BBB Complaint #23351807 was accepted & you will be hearing...
