Ocean State Job Lot — Local services in Coventry

I typically have no issues with this store until today! I shopped and went home after working over 12 hours and a hour and a half driver home . I realized after putting my stuff away that I paid ninety something dollars but what I have was no way possible Wellll the lady to do the return looked at my receipt and said go home grab all your items bring them back so she could see what rang up wrong. I am TIRED and I looked at her like What difference would it make I DO NOT have a cat item that was rung up on this receipt , so ringing in items that have no association is silly. I know this was an error and was not initially worried. She persisted so I went home gathered all my items and brought them back and a gentleman assisted me glanced at my bag and refunded me and the lady that made me run home said to him " did you figure out what item it was" just to feel validated somehow I said I am to tired for all this God help me and left because the gentleman gave me no issue at all I been shopping there for 6 yrs almost they usually pull all my receipts by my phone number and my history pops up.I told the gentleman if he looked he will never see a purchase for cat food ever just dogs stuff...I walked out very disappointed at how that was handled and I am a very patient person being I work with individuals with brain injuries. I assume she thought I may have been trying to steal or get over somehow after all these years and tons of money I spend But ,Not No More! I will never Lie or Steal I would have to answer to Jesus and I love him more than anything and I am well accomplished in life I would not Ever lose it all for $23 Bucks Never. It's a great store, in fact I LOVE IT. But we went there on Sunday n had a great time but when we cashed out (our cashier Joe) had an attitude that I found TOTALLY inappropriate. Slamming our merchandise on the counter n doing so that he knocks the scanner off the counter n on to the floor. Then the scanner doesn't work right, N GIVE US ATTITUDE LIKE IT WAS OUR FAULT. THINK JOE NEEDS TO GO!!!!! Not a very good people person. I have NEVER subjected that a person need to get fired but it was just that bad, there were only 2 cashiers on n the cash out line went only the way to the back of the store while he was doing his fit a the register. I believe the Coventry Job Lot is the biggest location in Rhode Island, but they offer the same as ever other one, just more of it. It's a one-stop-shop for mostly everything you need; making it convenient, so you don't have to commute to several different stores. This location is easy to get to, its right off Tiogue Ave and a mile or so from RT95.
