After having the night to process what happened in Tiffany's yesterday, I have decided to write this review. I would never want anyone else to experience the treatment we received yesterday at Tiffany's. My mom was diagnosed with cancer again and this was her 3rd time to Tiffany's salon. Years ago she purchased a $1500 wig and a hair piece that was upwards of $500. She has referred any cancer patients to Tiffany's along the years. In fact, the week earlier I visited Tiffany's with a friend who my mom referred to the store. She spent $1500 on her wig. Yesterday, we returned for her appointment she made a month or so back. When we arrived we were looked at oddly, as if she hadn't made this appointment months ago. We told Donna that we had an appointment and she told us immediately it was for a halo hair piece appointment and not a wig. We were rushed off into the side room and ignored for nearly 10 minutes. We could hear chatter between the employees that the appointment was not made for wigs and they don't have time for us. My mom had made this appointment months prior and expressed interest in both wigs and halo hair pieces but showed more interest in the hair piece rather than a full wig. I have never felt so brushed off and unwanted in my entire life. Can you imagine how my mom with cancer for a 2nd time around felt? This entire experience was so distasteful from the employee chatter about us, to being fitted in 2 wigs and 1 hair piece and hardly given the time of day. Shame on you Tiffany's for kicking someone when their confidence is at an...
Read moreWent to this Salon to have micro extensions installed. The Stylist was either not aware of how to actually install these or was rushed to have them put in. After a day my hair was pulling out at the roots, and After 3 weeks 20+ of the bonds have pulled out from the root and the only thing i can do is have them removed completely before I end up bald. The bonds are twisted, disorganized and too close to the scalp. They are uneven from twisting the wax into the hair, constantly pulling and causing pain. I am sure there are other great stylists in this salon, and I am sure Lucine is a great hair stylist, but she is not in any way qualified for micro extensions and should not be offering them as a service. As a note, I am not having her remove them, I am having another salon remove them and will provide an edit with the photos they take of the back showing the disorganization of...
Read moreI was referred to Tiffany Wigs by a cousin who had used them during her chemo treatment and was very happy with them. I took an 80 year-old friend who is balding very badly and Eileen was extremely kind and helpful. My friend had been very doubtful that she would find anything that would please her, but Eileen was not pushy, just very knowledgeable and encouraging. It took 2 visits for us to make a choice (and a third one to pick up the order;-)) but it was really worth it. 18 month later, Eileen explained that there was no need to replace it yet, just change the net and care for it slightly differently. Really...
