this is only for my recent most experience of today. Imagine my surprise when I went to get some cheap snacks and it was closed!? No signs or reasons why, phone associated went unanswered. I had to tell the people pulling in after me that it was closed, they were just as shocked as I was. So, only after I went to the corner convenience store down the road did I find out possibly why it was closed, apparently their "remodeling" the inside, that's fine and all, but@least give your customers a heads up or@the bare minimum, put/place a sign on the front doors for all to see. I mean lights were on, merchandise was in the same place. I thought maybe the employee was in the RR or something, so I waited for a minute. Nothing, but...

Everything I needed was easy to find and as always, the prices are excellent === except on food, where they rob you blind on brand-name things like ramen noodles and other quick-prepare single-guy "food". You need to know grocery-store prices to paying convenience-store mark-ups. Other grocery items are c ompetitively pr i ced, so you really are only paying double an some stuff.

One girl that seems to always be there has covered me more than once when I was short on cash out of her own pocket. More than a couple of dollars. I always paid her back but very surprised she offered to do it. They have even unlocked the door when I'd arrived at closing and let me in as long as only getting a couple of items. Saved me from having to drive to Buda....
