Chambers Farm and Garden Supply — Local services in Cullman

I moved here about a year ago from a big city in SC and never had any farm type animals until 9 months ago. We now have a hobby farm with chickens, ducks, turkeys, peacocks, geese, guineas and pygmy goats. I started with a small number of chickens and ducks and had no idea what I was doing or what to feed them and needed some help. A neighbor told me about Chambers so I stopped in. They are all really great and they helped me with how to care for them, what to feed them, what to do if they get sick or hurt. They really care about their customers and their animals needs. They will also load your feed into your vehicle for you, I don't have to worry how I'm going to get 50 lb feed bags to my truck when my husband and kids aren't here to help. Worst service ever. Don't take your single bag purchase to the counter if you're in a hurry, you'll get cussed out, threatened and all kinds of things by the mustache man. Go to Federer on county road 222, they've always gave me 5 star service and have never talked down to me if I didn't know something. I do not wish this place good luck. Ohh yea and when I asked to speak with the owner, that was not allowed at chambers. I'm sure he didn't want them knowing how bad of a crackhead he just acted like. One and only stop I ever made there. If I can't make it to Federer before they close, I'll just wait...

My older FurBaby is severely allergic to dog food that contains any kind of chicken ingredient-chicken, chicken meal, chicken by product, etc. They carry 1 specific formulation made by Taste of the Wild that she can eat that is free of all Chicken. It's called Taste of the Wild - Pine Forest and it's made from Venison. My puppers eats the Puppy version in the orange bag that is made from Bison and Venison. I think it's called Southwest Prairie. They both love there food. Its a bit pricey i must say at $55 for the 28lb bag, but my girls' health...
