Shiny Nails — Local services in Cypress

Hello to a 5 star salon. Long story short I have been in the Katy area since Sept. 2018. I have searched several place to find my new salon. I found good reviews here so i decided to try it. I was immediately welcomed by a very nice lady, she had a huge smile (I did not get her name). Helen (owner or manager) showed me a menu of a variety of services & great prices. I shared with me all the services when i told her i had never been there. I felt no pressure at all. I choose a 2nd level pedicure with Stacy (An Orange pedi) it was amazing. Very nice and relaxing. Stacy focused on my cuticles and did not rush through my pedi. I was given a drink of choice (soda) and was given 2 packs of some sweet/salty Asian biscuits (So good). Then off to my nail refill with Tiffany. She was SO SO good. She took her time and did each step meticulously and with pride. I felt like she loved what she was doing. She corrected my awful nails from the last place i went to in Katy. Thank you Helen, Stacy, Tiffany & the other nice lady there for my relaxing spa day!

I went a week ago for the first and I have to say the experience was not a good one... I didn't like how my nails were done and was the last customer there that night.. I spoke with Helen she told me to please come back she will fix my nails. I was a bit sad and disappointed because I looked at the reviews for a long time to choose a good place to get my nails done, I just moved to the area and dont want to drive 45 minutes anymore to my regular place, so I decided to try something new and I know it is not the place fault as to who does a good job.. but it is how they respond to your complaint. I have to say that I was a bit apprehensive to go back but Helen promised that I will not be disappointed again and they were there to make me happy. I went back today and I have to say that Queene was absolutely amazing, my nails are beautiful and I am HAPPY. Helen I thank you for been so kind, sweet and understanding, it means a lot to me and I will go back in a few weeks or so to take care of my hands and feet. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. So, Members of my family and I have gone to this place for many years for full sets pedis manis waxing!! Today I asked for mani pedi and to get my eyebrows waxed. Last time Tina did my eyebrows for me, but unfortunately today she was unable to. So she sent some other woman to help me. I told this woman exactly where NOT to wax, I was very specific as I have been working for months to grow out my eyebrows out. I also explained that I have sensitive skin.. The woman said, I understand and thank u for letting her know. Then proceeded to wax me basically taken out all my eyebrows..Making them SUPER thin and waxing off EVERYTHING I have been working for moths to grow back. She also burnt my lip and all she said was I'm sorry. I believe I was still charged for the wax too, as they didnt give me a receipt. After crying for a while and thinking back.
