Brooklyn Pizzeria — Restaurant in Texas

We were excited to have Brooklyn Pizzeria near us. We first visited at lunch last wed. The large pepperoni pizza was so fresh and really good. Was excited to bring the whole family out. Yesterday we went to Brooklyn and we were disappointed with the XL pepperoni. The pizza crust was floppy and doughy on half, the other half was thinner. It was warm but not hot. We even asked them to put it back in oven to try to get crust less floppy. That did not help and it still tasted old. Honestly it felt like they had a pizza in back for slices and just threw some pepperoni on it with more cheese and sent it to us. Maybe next time we should order the large pizza to avoid getting precooked pizza. We didn’t complain but are very disappointed. We have always loved the humble location with no issues. Picked up a pizza last night plus a calzone, wings and meatballs. The crust was made with something other than normal pizza dough. Maybe cauliflower? IDK but was bad. The wings were also sad. I purposely chose this restaurant over the Marco’s by my house because it has proven to be much better and worth the extra money but instead it was very disappointing for me and my family. When I called today I expected a much different response from the manager than the response I received which was invalidating, slow and unsympathetic. Ended with “ok tell me what you want”. No thanks lol I’ll eat the $68, leave a review and move on. Not chancing asking for a replacement meal...

Uhhhhh NO! If you like school tasting/carnival pizza then this is the place. The nasty frozen mozzarella sticks will set you back 8$ also. Cheese steak is terrible, not grilled. Everything is frozen and processed here except the dough and cheese! Look in the back and see the big rack of canned EVERYTHING! This isn't NY style pizza, maybe the shape of the pie but not taste or the true thinness. Best pizza in Houston is Napoli if you want Ny style. I had hoped for the best but it's not family owned like it says, but chain owned. Shame!
