Renfroe's Market — Local services in Dadeville

UPDATE: I would give this grocery store a negative star rating if I could. Today, 9/2/25, I was charged $1.19 for a cucumber that was shelf priced for 99 cents. Refroe's will nickle and dime the crap out of you! WATCH THEM!!!

The biggest problem with Renfroe's is them not getting their prices right. Too many times I have gotten home only to find I was over charged for an item. Furthermore, if the item is on sale, make sure it rings up at the sale price.

UPDATE: Went to Renfroe's on 7-19-21. Picked out some sweet potatoes that were marked 79 cents per pound. Got to the register and was charged $1.19 per pound. Pointed it out to the cashier. She went back to the produce section to check for herself. She returned and said I was correct. Just another example of an on-going problem. Renfroe's prices are already high. Don't let them add to that. Keep an eye on these folks.

UPDATE: Went to Renfroe's on 3-15-22 and among my purchases was a head of lettuce that they charged me $2.99 for when in fact it was $1.89. A difference of $1.10 on just one item. Then today they attempted to charge me $1.19 for a cucumber that was marked 99 cents. Isn't it funny their mistakes are ALWAYS for more money and never less? I'll be happy when they are no longer the only grocery store in town. Furthermore, they offer senior citizen and military veteran discounts on two separate days of the week. I am both. But you will have to ask for the discount. Otherwise, it will never be...

The service is always a pleasure. Deli has been very nice and always with a smile. As for the person in the seafood and produce he has a great work ethics and goes out of his way to make sure your visit was the best. No matter what kind of day you maybe having when u see him (Amon) completely gives his all to make sure you are at least 50% better than you were when you walked in. He has the best personality that changes you hole day for the better. So with that said he and Mis. Sandie shoeman has been such a blessing. And the main reason I keep coming back. I would have given this place 5 stars but in the deli department I was in line today and they had to make more tenders which is understandable there's a man standing behind me getting impatient not wanting to wait his turn so he says something to the manager Jimmy. Jimmy proceeds to go back there and threaten the two girls with their job and if they didn't hurry up they wouldn't work there anymore but they were running their self crazy going as fast as they could great attitude and everything. I definitely could not work for this son of a b**. The food was wonderful and I told the girls when I left that I would give them a great review because they were so nice and working so hard.
