Creekside on Hillcrest — Local services in Dallas

This review is about the property management and the leasing agent. I’ve been actively searching for a medical office lease and recently inquired about a vacant medical suite. Unfortunately, the leasing agent, Denise, was unresponsive with my lease agent questions via email or texting and abruptly stated that the landlord did not want to lease to my type of business without offering any further explanation—even though the suite was advertised as a medical suite.

Out of courtesy and genuine interest, I visited the property in person. During our brief conversation, Denise appeared visibly uncomfortable and hesitantly mentioned that the space might already be leased. Her body language suggested that this explanation may not have been entirely forthcoming. She had no response when I politely stated that she had NOT communicated this information via phone or email to my lease agent, despite follow-up inquiries. This review is about the building. (Physicians are separate from who they rent space from) You have ONLY 2 handicap parking spaces for the parking area facing Hillcrest. This lot is a good size with tons of spaces but only 2 that are handicap accessible. Next, your doors. You make sure offices follow ADA guidelines yet there is NOT a handicap accessible entrance/exit. Nor are the doors on the offices ADA accessible and compliant. To be compliant you need doors to the building and office space doors to be accessible. A person with a knee scooter, wheelchair, or mobility scooter should not have to wait for a person walking by to help, call for help, or ask someone to actually help them access the building. Many people have no manners any longer and walk right by you, rather than open or hold a door. It's ridiculous and an embarrassment. Please get your building in order...
