Cali Bowls — Local services in Dalton

I've been coming here since it opened with my family. Huge fan and always rave about it where ever I go. Couple of weeks ago I ordered the mermaid bowl for my kid. She made a bad face for the first time ever. So I took it back and they said the base was made without sweetener but they would throw it out and remake it. So they went to the back and got the same base but from a new order and it was great! Go back today and they are selling the same stuff that they threw away in my kids bowl the first time but claiming it has always tasted that way... Very Dishonest. I had them remake another bowl with a whole new coconut base. I was also on my 10th bowl (buy 10 get one free) and they didn't honor it. Said they went to a new point system. Over all very disappointed and wont be back. Buy with caution...

I’ve only been here once before and the bowl I got was amazing. Came back today to try another bowl and wanted to pay with cash. I only had a hundred dollar bill and the girl wouldn’t break it. I’m not upset that she couldn’t break the bill, but that she let business walk away. For the economy to be as it is I couldn’t imagine letting business walk over giving change. If large bills aren’t accepted maybe make a sign to indicate that so people don’t go thru the whole process of placing an order. She was very informative when asking questions about the bowl bases either but I just chalked that up to being quiet or...

First let me say I was super excited to have this place in Dalton, Ga. I absolutely adore Acai Bowls. Whenever, I am in the ATL, I make it a point to stop and get one. Now, the reason for the one star. This bowl was very deceiving. It LOOKED great! It tasted AWFUL! It was super hard and when I was finally able to get it soft enough for the spoon to go through it tasted like freezer burned ice cream, disgusting to say the least. I was very disappointed.
