Taqueria el Rey 2 — Restaurant in Dalton

I have only had good experiences here, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious. It is not the usual type of restaurant where you sit and they come to you. You order from the counter in the back and have a seat. They will bring your food to you. This might confuse some that are used to more americanized Mexican restaurants. They also serve breakfast here. As someone that loves Mexican style breakfast, it is nice to have a place that opens in the morning. Highly recommend if you have not had a Mexican style breakfast, to give it a try. The prices here seem to be on par with other places. This isn't the 80s... Food isn't...

El Rey was a great restaurant when they first started, now they are probably the most expensive taqueria in dalton and very cheap about everything! if you order to go,you are limited to 1green 1red 1gauc sauce(very small containers by the way) even if you have 3 orders for 3 different people! (each sauce is .50 if you want to buy enough for everyone) p.s. your already expensive give people sauce, if i go sit down in the restaurant i could have as much sauce as i want but TO GO everyone’s gotta...

Super disappointed! My husband and I loved eating at Taqueria El Rey so when we found out the #2 was opening and only 2 minutes away from our home we were so excited. We ordered take out and the lady was so rude and when we got home our Tortas were so sad. I had more bread then anything hardly any meat or toppings. Not to mention how expensive it is and to basically just get bread....
