Miles Thrift Shop — Local services in Damariscotta

This was our first visit back since COVID, and the people who run this place need to reconsider calling themselves a thrift store. There are so many items that are chipped (pottery, glass, etc.), torn (“handwoven” drapes), dirty (clothes with stains and holes), and dinged (framed artwork with nicks and spots of mold behind the glass). Treat yourself and stop in to the Miles in Motion Thrift Shop. It's a beautiful place to browse with creative colorful displays, reasonable prices with something for children to seniors! For example today I found a lobster batik tablecloth, a folding step stool for my grandkids to reach the bathroom sink, glass vases to take flowers to my mom, 2 puzzles with large pieces for my 92 yr old dad and a new top for myself!! Prices are a little higher than the average thrift shop but it all goes to a great cause funding the community hospital. Housewares, decor, jewelry, antiques, clothing, children's section, furniture, old records.
