Our old washer started having an issue and we thought we knew the problem. My wife went over to Danville Appliance and they had the part in stock (albeit for an over-inflated price). This was a very common standard off the shelf part. She asked if she could bring it back if that wasn't the problem and the man said she could. Well, when the washer was opened up, it was quickly clear that it had more major problems and the whole thing needed replaced so we went together to take back the part (which we never even opened) and to look for a new washer. My wife gave it to the man at the desk who then pointed to a sign and, very rudely, said "No refunds!" Now I can understand this if we ordered some special part for our washer but this was a very standard stocked item. I told my wife to just put it in her pocket and we'd go to Lowes to buy our washer.. to which he said "okay, bye." I will never set foot back in there again and I feel like I probably dodged a bullet because I was ready to spend $1000+ in there but, with their absolute zero customer service skills, I'm glad I never have to deal with them again. Wouldn't recommend...
Read moreI give them TEN stars for their responsive, courteous, professional service. However, I bought their high-end COVE dishwasher -- VERY expensive -- at their highest recommendation. I wanted the best -- something that wouldn't break down and would be quick and easy to repair. The Cove dishwasher is a piece of . . . it's worthless. I had wanted to buy a Miele or Bosch (also high-end machines), but they persuaded me that the Cove was better -- would be more reliable and easier to get spare parts for. All horse manure. It is the WORST dishwasher I have EVER owned. Constant problems and they can't get parts. You don't get what you pay for. I highly recommend Danville Appliance, but I would NOT recommend their high end machines. Money wasted. Great service at Danville Appliance, but bad advice on the performance of their high-end machines. Do your own homework before you arrive so you know what to buy. Don't be persuaded to buy something different. Don't overspend. A fool and his money are soon parted. I...
