They have a ton of everything from furniture to decorations and candy, etc. I wish I had a truck because I found some great priced furniture while looking around. My only complaint was I found a great metal sign that I knew my boyfriend would love. It matched a door mat that he has that he had to order from overseas. The mat has been through a lot and is getting very faded and worn so the sign would have been a perfect replacement. Unfortunately when I got the register I was told that because there wasn't a price on the metal sign they wouldn't let me buy it. They said they didn't know the price or what booth it was from. I told them that I could point out the booth and that the entire booth is filled with metal signs of the same style and size and that they're all $10.00. They said it didn't matter and that I still couldn't purchase the sign. I've never been to a store where an item on the shelf is not able to be purchased and I was very disappointed. This could have been a great moment to partake in outstanding customer service but instead the service was extremely lacking.
I didn't want anyone else to end up in the same situation so I explained that there was a second identical sign in the same booth that also didn't have a price and suggested that they should remove the other sign as well off the shelf. My disappointment turned to frustration when the cashier didn't seem at all concerned to remove the other non priced sign. She didn't ask what booth I was referring to even after making clear that she didn't know what booth it was from. This situation could have been handled better in multiple ways and the lack of customer service was extremely frustrating. With so many great antique and vendor malls between Danville and Somerset, I will probably skip this one on my next Danville...
Read moreMy husband and I went shopping today at Vendors Village. In the past, I loved it and have always enjoyed going there. Today however, we went in to purchase some sports cards, something my husband has always collected. I couldn't be MORE disappointed with the staff at this place. While I was paying my husband was still looking around near the cash register (not 5 feet away) and the entire time every person standing at the registers were rude and acted as if we were stealing things, when we were CLEARLY standing there paying for the items we bought, and had assistance getting out items out of the case of baseball cards which the staff member took them to the register for us, and still treated us like that! They hardly spoke to me, and kept looking at us like we were doing something wrong when we never even handled the items we bought UNTIL THEY WERE PURCHASED! I have plenty of money and I will NEVER spend another dollar with these sorry people. We are well established people in this community, and we have no right to be looked at like that. I feel sorry for the business who sells cards there because we will never get them, or anything else from...
Read moreI put okay as a vendor not a customer. 1st time giving it a shot. Made some extra cash which was nice. $135 a month for the smallest booth, 3% of your profit goes to them, & if you aren't at your booth everyday sometimes twice a day the public will destroy it. I went out & found broken merchandise, other vendor's product, & items that been stolen. Thats all on you the vendor. It didnt make sense to me to pay that kind of money for my to stuff to be left at the public's disposal. As a customer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I love the this place & always will, just not...
