ALDI — Local services in Daphne

I would normally give the Daphne location a 5 star rating due the fact I've always had good experiences in this store, but my experience today ended in being very frustrating. I know Aldi's has their store policy and that's why it's cheaper then other stores, but the cashier I had today was not a very customer friendly person. I am temporarily disabled and can barely walk so I have to use a cane to support myself, so I put my groceries in a couple reusable shopping bags in my cart, for one to make it easier on me at check out since I can only use one hand, and two to keep the line moving. No that was not acceptable to this cashier lady. She made me unload everything on to the conveyor belt, after I explained to her I'm temporarily disabled and that's why I put the bags on the conveyor belt, because obviously she could've unloaded them ten times faster then I can. She ignored my comment about that. I also had to ask her to stop the conveyor belt 3 times making the whole check out process much harder on me, and making everyone behind me wait much longer. It doesn't cost anything to help someone and be nice to one another. That being said they need to train their employees on kindness, and helping people. They usually have really good employees, but this one lady in particular was not one of those. I had to leave my rant here so hopefully management at this location will help educate their employees on these issues. I always lend a hand to anyone in need and go out of my way to help...

My cashier was Kelly and she had RUINED this location for me. I always shop at fairhope aldi and fairhope publix bc of the amazing customer service, but today I went to the Daphne location for work and will not be back, for my families groceries, or for work! I was hesitant to complain bc I know how difficult working in grocery can be! But then I look on these reviews and you can see SO many people have had the same issue with her for months! She had a big smile on her face while intentionally being rude and disrespectful to me! I had planned on coming back to this location later in the day for my own personal groceries bc I saw how much more variety they have! But after how distraught I left the store from Kelly’s treatment, I absolutely will not be back. I came in very happy and left very angry, distraught, and emotional. I thought management just needed to re train her but after seeing all of these awful comments about her, she clearly needs to be let go. She seems to get some kind of pleasure from ruining peoples days. I would hate for her to treat anyone else this way. I’d expect better treatment from a Walmart employee than the way...

I usually enjoy shopping at Aldis but after my experience today I don’t think I’ll be back to the daphne location. The cashier, Kelly, was very erratic and rude. My mom and I had separate orders, she literally THREW all my moms stuff into the buggy, and then when mom was done paying she went to tossing my stuff into the buggy without giving my mom even 2 seconds to keep her 10 items or less separate from mine. And when mom tried pulling her thing out to put them into a bag Kelly got loud with her and told her to wait til she was done. Well my mom decided she was going to put her items into the second buggy for a second so she could separate hers from mine (she was gonna move that buggy back for kelly but Kelly couldn’t wait Lord) so Kelly got up and threw her groceries into the bagging area and took the second buggy back. It was an AWFUL and embarrassing experience seeing a cashier act so erratic and panicky over something that shouldn’t have been a big deal. I am embarrassed that Aldi would hire...
