I will start off by saying that I am completely sympathetic with the obstacles that working through COVID-19 presents.
However, there have been a total of 5 whole days during the month of June ALONE that I've had to set aside waiting at home to receive this single package. Only one of those times were scheduled on my own- the other 4 times, a Pilot representative scheduled the delivery or pickup. Each time, Pilot has failed to contact me to tell me that they aren't coming. When I try to contact Pilot to check the whereabouts (both through the 1-800-HI-PILOT line as well as the direct number to the Folcroft, PA distribution center, I believe for Lena Rymdeko) of the delivery person, I can never reach someone. When I finally get a call back, it's hours later. A couple times, I didn't get a call back at all. The one time my package came during its scheduled time, it was because they enlisted the help of a different delivery company. This doesn't include the several similar incidents for another package that was delivered through Pilot for me last month.
I truly wish that I had a say on whether or not this package was delivered through Pilot. If I knew it would come through Pilot, I wouldn't order it. If I had the option to deliver with Pilot, I absolutely wouldn't choose it. Again, I understand that working through COVID is difficult. But for the company to have such consistently poor communication over a month and a half, I feel that you need to reevaluate your efficiency (or in this case, lack thereof), while halting operation so you aren't putting the lives of your consumers on hold due to Pilot's inadequacies and unreliability.
Also, I've been trying to reach the Folcroft, PA location while typing this and you can audibly hear the person answering picking the phone up and immediately hanging up. Another example of Pilot's unreliability and awful...

When they called Monday to arrange delivery they told me it had just come to them on the 30th and they could deliver it on Wednesday between 12-5. I received a call in Wednesday that they wanted to arrange a delivery. I informed them it was already arranged and asked to hold. I got cut off and no one called me back I had to call them. I got another person who had an awful attitude I believe she was the one who called on the Monday as there is only two women arranging the deliveries. I asked to speck with someone else as she was not helping the situation but more frustrating to have to deal with. The end was me being told it was not possible that an appointment was made I asked for the email address sent in the proof and still haven't heard back about the incompetence of the company.    Read moreI would give zero stars if I could, completed an order through Walmart March 29th, delivery was scheduled for April 7th and they were a no show, called on April 8th and was told their next available delivery date was April 10th between 10 am and 5 pm so I accepted that date. Called today April 10th as it 5:45 to find out where the delivery is and was told it is still sitting in folcroft pa as a driver has not been dispatched to pick up the order??? Worst shipping company I've ever dealt with, I have cancelled my order through Walmart and would highly recommend that if you order from Walmart, sams club, best buy ect you check who the shipping company is before completing your purchase with them.
